The sun has set over an endless war. Our heros have been defeated, killed and captured. The ones that are left, those lucky few, lay their swords in the reminisce of their kings castle. A place that once invited peace and harmony among the nation has been made no more then rubble. The stone walls fallen, it's residents nowhere to be seen, and it's gaurd brought down to their knees. This is what it means to suffer defeat. The pinicle of man's accomplishments were proven useless in the face of the mighty. Humanity, leaders of the old world, slaves of the new. They are nothing.
Just across the seas, a great ruler stands tall over his people. People of great magical power, so great that the earth itself is no more then a play thing for the strongest of dwarfs. The skies are but the hunting ground for the mightiest of dragons. All of the ocean is a fine tuned weapon for the niads, and the trees and animals follow only the druids in battle. But above all, those with the most power in this distant land aren't wielders of magic. They can't fly as high as the dragons, and they don't have the physical strength of the ogres, and most certainly not the intelect of the humans. What they have that sets them apart is their mindset. These horned fuckers have the mentality of kings so they rule as such. Devils rule over these creatures, and humanity let them win.
99.99999999% of humanity has given up faith, but there's still the one who believes. 1 man who has the heart to keep fighting, but not the body. His name would be written down in history as Steve Roger's, the last soldier. A fitting name, but its not entirely accurate. He didn't think he himself could win. He had hope that someone else could. Throughout the text of his time, there was 1 moniker that never left the pages. Hundreds of years worth of writing kept his title alive.
"The Titan! The Titan can help us all! If you would just Listen!"
"NO! That's nothing more then a fairytail! He doesn't exist!"
"Yes he does father, you just have to let me-"
"Let you do what!? Run around on a fools errand?! Make us royalty look worse then we already do!? *sigh*" The king sighed and reigned in his temper. He knew it wasn't the boys fault. "Look son, we have enough going on as it is. I can't let you go off on your own to find a legend. He's long gone by now, there's no use."
"There is father! You just have to trust me! I promise I can do it. And if I can't find him within the next year, I'll come right home."
The king contemplated the words of his child. Taking a long while to answer, he opened his mouth with a compromise. "6 Months. I'll give you 6 months to arrive with The Titan! However, you are no longer my son. You are stricken of your legitimacy to the thrown, and your name is not to be heard from this day on! You are nothing! PRINCE QIN SHI HUANG, YOU ARE NOTHING! LEAVE MY SIGHT AND NEVER UTTER THE WORDS OF OUR KINGDOM AGAIN, FOR THE EAST WILL NEVER REMEMBER YOU! UNDERSTOOD!?"
"SIR YES SIR!" The boy responded, both pride and sadness filling his heart. "I WILL NOT FAIL YOU!"
"NOW GO!"
