Millie's POV -

-

Over the next couple weeks, Millie watched as the news exploded with headlines.

They claimed that Paige had been found, and that her best friend was out.

The news articles got more and more over the top as Millie continued to scroll through social media on the plane back to Atlanta.

She refused to even glance at the numerous comments that she knew would contain homophobia, hate, and other negative things.

Not wanting to go on looking, she hurriedly powered off her device to turn her attention to the window. Watching the clouds down below, she let out a tiny sigh, wondering what would be waiting on the other side.

Paige's POV -

-

Paige grimaced as she caught sight of Sadie's younger sister.

Stepping away from from her girlfriend, somewhat self consciously, she nodded towards her.

"Who's that again? I don't think you introduced me to her."

Sadie was forced to halt her kisses to answer the question.

"Oh. That's my sister, Jacey."

She couldn't really believe that Paige didn't know a thing like that. Didn't everybody know she had a sister? She had always supposed it was public the moment she herself had risen to fame.

And all the fans of hers were constantly clamoring for updates on her life. Hence why...

"Um— I think it's all over the internet now..." Paige's uncertain voice spoke.

Paige cringed as she read some of the messages and comments on her Instagram posts. Even though she hadn't said as much, somehow the word had gotten out.

"SHOO! Go away!"

Paige snapped her head up at Sadie's outraged voice, and saw that cameras were beginning to surround the house.

Jacey was scrambling to close the curtains as quickly as possible for their sake.

So that's how it got into the pubic eye...

Paige startled when the redhead snatched her phone out of her hands.

"Don't look at that! You'll just get upset!"

"Oh— okay."

Sadie marched off, and Jacey sided up to her.

"I'd take her advice."
