This chapter is from Carrie's perspective.

As I walk  through the glass sliding French door, coughing and sneezing uncontrollably with my running nose, fever, and blood shoot red eyes, my employees; Jeremy and JoSaiah both stare with their blue medical masks on their faces. I wonder if they know something that I don't already know. Wait! "Do they know what I don't want them to know?" is what I think. I look away quickly and hurry into my office silently.  About 5 minutes have already passed. It's now 1305 hrs. I leave the office and announce that I'm going home. Everyone looks at me puzzled. They're probably thinking that the store can't be operated without a manager. I then announces that Jeremy and Christian are in charge if anyone needs anything. Joseph moans and groans like usual because Jeremy is yet again in charge. He has already told me that he doesn't like the fact Jeremy has that "authentic" and stuff whenever he has been there much longer. Jeremy has started on the 20th of July and Joesph has started on the 11th of February. I see why he might be upset. He just needs to be more professional. Jeremy started roughly five months ago and he has already gotten a raise. I know he wants to be promoted, but I'm not going to promote him. Allegedly he's leaving in August for college. Why promote someone so they can leave soon after?

Unfortunately I couldn't stay until 2300 hrs like I wanted, but I most certainly am sure that the store will be more than adequate with Jeremy there. I'll see whenever my trustworthy Christian gets me the report tomorrow.
