Dani (Wizards of Waverly Place [Max Russo])

chapter 4

*Max's POV**

Max smiled as he hung up the phone with Dani.

"Okay, Max, think! Dani will be here in an hour." He talked out loud to hiself. "I need blankets, pillows, and popcorn for our movie date- I mean night." He quickly recovered his statement. Max ran down stairs into the living room, taking his pillow with him and discarding it on the couch. He opened the closet, next to the guest bathroom, and threw about 4 blankets on the couch behind him. "Alright. Blankets, check. Now, I need popcorn." He went to the microwave and threw in a bag of popcorn, after taking it out of the plastic. "What am i forgetting!? Think Max!" He hit his forehead with his palm. "MOVIES! Thats what I need. Cant have a movie da- night without movies."
Max went over to the stack of movies Alex had rented, but forgot to take back. He pulled out Dani's favorite movies out of the stack, Lilo and Stich, How to train your dragon, and Hercules.

Ding! The microwave went of, signaling that the Popcorn was finish. He got a bowl down and poured the popcorn in. Max sat it down on the coffee table along with the movies. He sat on the couch, waiting for Dani, when Jerry came up from the sub station and spotted the bowl on the table.

"Oh! Popcorn!" He reach for the bowl.

"Hands off. Thats for Dani and me." Max swatted at his hands. He pouted a little bit.

"Fine. Oh, by the way, I went to Wiz Tech University today and got you registered. Now, we just have to drop you off tomorrow and leave!" Jerry left the living room in the direction of his room.

Max perked up when the door up up, but it was Mason, looking for Alex. She was upstairs getting ready for their date tonight. He sat down next to max on the couch, waiting for her. Max was  really hoping everyone would leave them alone when Dani gets here.

"Max, are you having a movie night by your self, tonight?" Mason asked with pity in his voice. He hasn't met Dani yet, and if Max was being honest, he didn't want Mason to meet Dani, he might wolf out on her, and hurt her. Max wouldn't be able to live with himself if Dani got hurt.

"No, Dani is coming over for a movie night." Max told him, hoping he'll leave it alone.

"I don't believe there is a Dani. I've never met her, and I'm over here all the time." His british accent, Max used to think was so cool,  but lately was kinda getting annoying.

"Yes, you are, but your always in the lair. Dani has never been in the lair."

"You should just tell her youre a wizard, look how it turned out with Harper. Anyways, what time is Dani getting here?" Alex asked coming off the stairs and walking to her now standing boyfriend.

"Soon."  Max told his sister, seeing Mason roll his eyes, giving a disbelieving look towards Max.

Alex spotted the movies on the table next to the popcorn, "Max! You hate these movies. Everyone hates these movies. I didn't even know we had these movies"

"Dani doesn't hate them"

"Awww. You'll watch those horrible movies for your girlfriend?! Thats so sweet." She smiled, letting a little bit of the girly side come out of her.

"She's not my girlfriend. She's my best friend."

"Don't even try to pull that shit on me." The smile dropping from her face, "She's over here more then she's at her own home." Well thats true, "You do more couple stuff than I have done. And thats a lot."

"Thats not true!" Max just wanted them to leave before Dani got here to embarrass him even more.

"Really!? You go to the movies all the time, You eat lunch together every day, you have movie nights and wake up cuddled next to each other. You two are always touching each other" max blushed at that one, I didn't realize people knew that. "Need i go on?" He shook my head in defeat
