**Dani's POV**

An alarm went off waking Dani, she turned and grabbed her phone to turn off the alarm. Tossing it back on the table she snuggled back into her breathing pillow. Confused and half asleep, she looked up to see a sleeping Max under her, and blushed. Dani wiggle out of Max's arms but he tighten his hold on her. When he relaxed again,  she was able to slip off the couch with out waking him.

She stood and walking into the kitchen where Mrs. Russo was breakfast.
"Good morning, Mrs. Russo." Dani rubbed some sleepy out of her eyes as she sat down on the stool.

"Oh, Good morning Dani." She flipped the omelet she was making, "What time will your mother be here to pick you up?"

"Around 9." she just nodded. "I'm going to go get dressed before I eat, alright."

"Thats fine dear." She smiled sweetly at me. She hopped of the stool and grabbed her duffle bag by the couch. Once in the bathroom, she did her business and changed into a pair of black Jean shorts and a black tank top. She threw her hair up into a ponytail, out of her face. She grabbed Max's hoodie and headed out of the bathroom.

Max was already sitting at the kitchen table eat off a plate in front of him. After placing her bag on the couch, she walked over to him, pulling on the hoodie. She sat down in the seat that had food in front of it.

"So, i take it, I'm not getting my hoodie back?" He shoved food in his mouth.

"Nope. It's mine now." She gave him a bright smille and he rolled his eyes. When she was finished eating she gave him the rest of the food on her plate. "Thanks Mrs. Russo. It was delicious." She told her as she cleaned up.

"No problem dear. You might want to hurry up, Max. Dani leaves soon." Max rolled his eyes at his mom.

"Don't remind me." Dani giggled when he mumbled that, "Do you have to leave?" He asked out loud.

"You know I do maxi"  she got up, and sat on the couch putting her shoes on. She had one shoe on when there was a knock at the door, "MAX! Door!" She yelled from her spot on the couch.

"Well, then answer it." He got up and put our dishes in the sink.

"But I'm busy."  She rolled her eyes, as she tied her shoe.

"Will, Someone let me in already!" Dani's mom yell through the door. Dani groaned as she hoped to the door with one shoe. "Daniella, why on earth do you have Max's hoodie on?" Kay asked as dani  hoped back to the couch, and put her other shoe on.

"How did you know it's mine?" Max asked from across the room.

"Sweetie," kay always talked slowly to him, like he was stupid, Dani hated it. "Your name is on the back."

Just then Dani felt Max's hands on her shoulders, forcing her back to face him, "Awesome! Now I know why people always knew my Name!" And he wonders why Kay talks to him the way she does.

"That could be it." Dani said facing him, "Or... It could be because they went to school with you."

"Oh yeah." He shrugged

"Come on," Kay grabbed Dani's bag, "Say your Good byes Daniella."

"Bye Maxi, I'll miss you." He pulled her into a hug, squeezing tight.

"I'll miss you too," he felt a wet spot on his shoulder "Hey"  he pulled her away, and saw the tears falling down her face. "None of that, this isn't goodbye. We'll see each other again soon, I promise Dani" He wiped the tears from her face and pulled her back into a hug.
"Bye Dani."

"Bye Maxi." She pulled away and walked out of his apartment, wiping her face and pulling the door shut.

Kay rolled her eyes at her daughter, "Come on, we have your orientation to get to. Dry those tears" and walked ahead of Dani.

They were standing in front of the gate of Wiz tech university. Dani had her duffle bag on her shoulder, and her suitcase next to her.

"Okay honey. Have fun, and I'll see you when you get home." Kay encouraged Dani to walk through the gates.

"What? Where are you going mom?" She wasn't just going to leave, was she?

"Oh you'll be fine, I'm going to go talk to that very fine man over there."  Kay eyed a tall gentleman in a wizards robe.

"Oh sure, just leave me here. I'll be perfectly fine" Dani said after she already walked away. A shadow casted over her.

"You know, talking to your self is never a good sign. It says to people that youre crazy"  Dani turned around and looked up to see a taller student with blond hair blocking the sun.

"Yeah, I kinda realize that. But you're the one that decided to talk to the crazy girl talking to herself. I'm Dani." She stuck out her hand and he took it.

"Touché. I'm Thomas. It a pleasure to met you." He grabbed his handle to his suitcase and they both headed inside. "Um. Dani, honey. You do realize that, that hoodie is huge on you? Its practically a dress"

"Yeah, it's my best friend's." She smiled, thinking about Max, smelling the scent on the sleeves

"Oh? I sense romance!" He sanged "tell me all about him" he insisted.

She hid my blushing face. "His name is m-" dani started to say his name when the lady at the check-in table interrupted her.

"NEXT! Name?" she rudely asked as Dani stepped forward.

"Uh. Daniella Johnson." She look through a really old looking book labeled 'J'

"Johnson, Daniella. Room 315." She handed Dani a old looking skeleton key, with an itinerary for the weekend. "NEXT!" She moved aside for Thomas to go.

"Thomas Brewer." He told her.

"Brewer, Thomas. Room 367." She gave him the same looking key and itinerary. "NEXT!"

"Well, she was... pleasant." He chucked in response.  She look at the itinerary and saw that lunch started in 2 hours "im going to find my room and unpack, See you at lunch?"

"Yeah, I'll save you a seat." He called after her as she turn up the stairs to the girls dorms. She ended up finding her room with no problem. When Dani opened the door she saw a girl with bright pink hair sitting on a twin bed sketching something in a notebook.

"Um. Hello?" Dani greeted her as she hauled her duffle bag into the room.

"Oh HI! I'm Stella!" The pink hair girl jumped off the bed and ran to hug Dani. "I'm your roommate!!" She squealed

"Uh, Dani." She groaned out as stella squeezed her. Stella let go Dani, jumped back onto her bed and flipped to a new page of her note book and started sketching.

They talked a bit while Dani unpacked her things. Stella's side of the room was already completed, with fairy light above her bed, and various drawings of outfits scattered her wall.

A loud gong sounded through out the dorm room, startling the two girls. Glancing at the clock on the wall, "That must signal meal times" Dani told stella,"Come one, I met a guy name Thomas earlier that supposed to be saving us a seat"

They walked into the busy cafeteria and quickly spotted Thomas sitting down at a corner table. Dani grabbed Stella's wrist and pulled her throughthe crowd. "Hey, Thomas. This is Stella. My roommate."

"Hi girlies! Come sit! My roommate went to grab some food. " He leaned in closer to the two girls, "let me tell you, this guy has the most adorable puppy dog eyes" Thomas gushed.

Dani rolled her eyes at the two and got up, "I'm going to go get a drink, want anything?"

"Can you get me a water?" stella asked giving her a dollar from her purse, Thomas shook his head no. 

"I'll be back" She announced but stella and Thomas were already gossiping about the older students.
