Turn 55 - Motivation/Yugure's Advance

"I lost..." This echoed in Yushidas mind. He had lost duels in the past but this defeat was different. If He had lost a duel before it was just a case of trying again. But while this duel did not have the same extreme stakes that he was fearing...Yushida knew that if he me or hus friends dueled against Freya or the other members of Yugure it could mean the end of their lives.

"Yushida!!" Alicia came running over, her duel disk on and ready. "What's happened?? Are you okay???"

"I lost..." Yushida spoke quietly. "She beat me..."

"Yushida..." Alicia looked at him sadly before she ran up to him and lifted him up resting his arm over her shoulder to support him. "Come on we have to get out of here!"

There were screams coming from around the area as several people were running from the duel zombies. Several rides began to suddenly come to a stop, leaving several of the people trapped on them.

"Shit...I didn't realize that things had gotten so bad..." Alicia muttered to herself before she moved herself and Yushida over to a small ticket booth and rested him against it. "Yushida...we've gotta do something!" She looked at Yushida who sat there unresponsive. "Yushida!!" Once more she looked at him as he didn't respond to her words. "We can't just sit here and do nothing!"

"What can I do?" Yushida looked at Alicia speaking with a sombre tone. "I lost to Freya...I can't beat her...I can't help these people."

Alicia gritted her teeth desperately before she swung out her arm, with one swift motion she slapped Yushida across the face. "STOP IT!!" She cried out, tears welling in her eyes.

"Ow..." Yushida looked at Alicia holding his cheek.

"You can't just give up! You lost a duel yes.. but you're still here! I'm still here! And because we're still here we can still win!" Alicia exclaimed before she stood up and looked out towards the park. "I'm going to go and help the others here...cause I refuse to give up and let everything just go to shit!!" Alicia started walking away from Yushida.

"Alicia wait!" Yushida reached out towards her, standing up as he did.

"I'm not waiting! If I wait people will get hurt!" Alicia looked at Yushida. "I'm going...whether you will or not."

"I'm going with you Alicia...yeah I lost but you're right...I can't give up! If I do the people who are counting on me will fall too." Yushida looked at her seriously before he stood beside her.

Alicia began to smile slightly as she looked forward. "Lets go an help!"

Several duel zombies were gathered around the base of a ferris wheel as a group of young kids were crying and panicking.

"Hey!!!" Yushida shouted as he ran over towards the duel zombies. "Over here!! Duel Me!"

Several of the duel zombies turned towards Yushida in response to him calling them, giving chase as he ran away.

"Hey. You all okay?" Alicia came over to ferris wheel, opening the gate to get to the kids. "I'm here to get you out."

Upon the gate being opened the kids all ran out. Most of them nodding in appreciation as they ran past. But a duel zombie that remained behind began to approach Alicia now.

"Oh great..." Alicia mumbled to herself as she prepared herself but as she was about to confront it something struck the side of the person's head knocking them down. "Huh?"

"Looks like I got here just in time." The young man walked out from behind the ticket booth. It was Hiro.

"Hiro?" Alicia looked at him with surprise before she looked around. "Why are you here?"
