Chapter 13

Mellisa's POV

It's been 3 days since the accident and Jack's still out cold. I sat next to his bed hand grasping his, Jack (J) sat next to me asleep on a chair. I stood up yet another time today and sprinted to the bathroom, puking my guts out into the toilet. I heard the door creek open and Jack held back my hair, rubbing my back soothingly.

"it's okay, babe, let it out" He said quietly. I stood up flushing the toilet and turned to Jack.

"All this stress isn't good for you, Mell." Jack said to me.

"I know, I'm just so worried and to make it worse my mum is coming today and she is going to blame this whole thing on us" I began to sob, Jack pulled me into his arms and I wept into his chest.

It was quiet for a minute or two the only noise coming from Jack's (G) heart monitor and breathing machine, but suddenly the door flew open and my mum came rushing into the room and over to Jack's bed. She was crying.

"Oh my god, Mell. I came as soon as I could, How is he?" She asked grasping his hand.

"The doctors said that he has had a bad bump and he is in a coma but is stable for now and should hopefully wake up soon" I informed her. She looked up from Jack and looked at me and Jack (J).

"How did this happen?!" she asked. I looked at Jack and gulped.

"uh Me and Jack started dating and when Jack found out he didn't like it, after he tried to beat up Jack (J) he stormed away and that's when the accident happened." She looked angry she let go of Jack's hand and walked towards us.

"So this is your fault!" She yelled pointing at Jack and I. I just nodded not knowing what to say.

"No, ma'am, it's not her fault." Jack (J) spoke up. She looked at him rage all over her face.

"You don't get to say anything, If you and my daughter hadn't started 'dating' then this wouldn't have happened!"

"Don't yell at him!" I yelled at her.

"As soon as Jack wakes up, I am taking you back to Nebraska away from him" You are not to see him again. Do you understand me?"

"I am nearly 18 years of age mum, you can't dictate who I date!"

"Just watch me" She yelled again.

A/N This is only a short chapter because I haven't updated in so long but bear with me guys please?
