"ARIEL!" Levi moved his head just in time, and Ariel bit the tree instead, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? SNAP OUT OF IT! IT'S ME, LEVI!"
"I'm trying to kill you," Ariel let a growl escape her lips.
"I don't understand! I wake up and my sister is trying to kill me! What's going on?!"
"You tried to kill me," Ariel hissed, eyes glowing red.
"I don't know what happened, honest! Please Air, you have to believe me!"
Hearing her nickname made Ariel immediately freeze. It triggered something inside her. "L-Levi?"
At this point, Jake had came back, he didn't want to go too far. He got out of his car, his hand now bandaged up, and ran over to them when he realized that they weren't fighting.
Ariel looked at Jake her eyes still glowing a bright shade of red. Jake's hand was wrapped but she could still smell the blood. She went back into blood lust and started walking to Jake. Jake walked to her. He had never seen her in blood lust before so he didn't know that he was in danger. Levi recognized the look in her eyes and threw her into a tree.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Jake yelled at Levi running over to Ariel. Levi stopped Jake by grabbing his arm and holding it tight so he couldn't move.
"If you go to her now she will tear you apart and drain all of your blood." Levi told Jake.
Jake didn't listen. He didn't want to believe Levi. Of course he didn't really know what to believe because the last time he saw Levi he was attacking Ariel. Ariel stood up for a minute just to fall back down. When Levi had thrown her she hit her head on a tree.
Levi finally let go of Jake's arm and Jake ran over to Ariel.
"I.. what?" Ariel mumbled as Jake shook her. It looked like she was controlling her blood lust better.
"Ariel, it's me... Jake."
"Who?"
"Your boyfriend..."
"I-I'm sorry, sir. But I don't know you."
"Jake, is it?" Levi asked him, "we need to get out of here, I can explain."
"I don't know if I trust you," Jake warned.
"Well, you are going to have to if you want to save Ariel."
"Save her?" Jake asked, "What is going on, explain yourself right now or we aren't going anywhere."
"There is a group after us. They want Ariel's power as well as mine. They somehow got to me, I don't know how they did it, but they did. They brainwashed me to get Ariel. They thought if I could make her feel bad about killing her parents, she'd let her guard down and I could attack her."
"What is this group?"
"There was a mysterious man who tried to kidnap her a while back. He was part of that group. They are called 'The Order of the Void'. They want to harness all the vampires power and take over the world. When Ariel knocked me into a tree, that somehow made something click and lifted the spell off of me. And when I hit her hard enough it knocked her out of her blood lust it seems. Now, can we please get out of here and go somewhere safe to help Ariel get her memories back?."
"Ok fine, but I'm going to keep my eyes on you." Jake said still not really trusting Levi. How could he trust someone who was trying to kill his girlfriend? Levi took Ariel and Jake to a house in the woods.
"We should be safe here." Levi said leading Jake to a room in the basement, "you two can stay here."
"And what will you be doing?" Jake asked, weary.
"Earning your trust," he simply said. Levi took Jake's hand and healed the sword cut. He then placed a hand on Ariels forehead.
"This will take a while, so get comfortable," Levi told Jake, "I'm going to attempt to restore her memory."
Jake nodded, "alright that's fine." He said. The basement wasn't what Jake expected it to be. It was a nice finished basement with a few rooms.
"They should have a harder time trying to find you if you're underground. They don't like being underground." Levi explained. Ariel claimed a room then passed out. She was exhausted and didn't understand why Levi and that other guy was making such a fuss.
"We will see how she feels after she wakes up. Hopefully she will remember you," Levi looked over at Jake, who was admiring the basement.
"I hope so, too," Jake mumbled under his breath, "Just know that I will not hesitate to kill you if you make any funny moves."
The threat was amusing to Levi, but he didn't let that show. He knew that he was way to strong for Jake to even try to kill him, but he just nodded somberly, "Understood."

Ariel woke up a few hours later. All she remembered was that she and a lover were in a car, and there was a fight, then the color red. Two men were in her room. One she recognized as her older brother, Levi. The other, she recognized as her lover from her memory, but what was that name again?"Jake, his name is Jake," Levi simply said, reading her thoughts.
Jake glanced over at Levi questioningly.
"Forgot your name when I restored her memories, sorry man."
"Jake!" Ariel beamed, and Jake rushed over to hug her.
"We good now?" Levi asked, slightly nervous.
"I guess so," Jake smiled and kissed Ariel, "Do you trust him, Ariel?"
Ariel could sense intentions, and knew that they were good. She nodded, "I know he is telling the truth now, I can feel it."
Jake didn't fully understand Ariel's powers, but he trusted Ariel. He nodded.
"Sorry about trying to kill you, uh..." Levi trailed off, "I'm not good with apologies, or communication for that matter."
"Uh, yeah..." Jake was more focused on Ariel.
"Booty Booty Booty Booty Rockin' Everywhere!"
Levi sank back into his seat, "That's... uhh... that's my phone. I'll get that."
Jake tried to stifle a laugh, but a few escaped through his lips.
"I like to keep it interesting," Levi explained as he picked up his phone, then sighed, "That's my alarm."
"For what?" Jake asked.
"Just to keep it interesting."
"Right..."
"Now, we should get to business about The Order of the Void."
