The year was 2160, the earth has now become so industrialized that the government has resorted to farming oxygen and releasing it into city segments based on population density. Satellite images of the earth render the water black due to the amount of oil and debris in it. Aquatic animals are almost all extent, given the few exceptions of deep-dwelling shrimp and sand dwellers. Majority of the population has conformed to this way of life, but there is a group in the main city who has come to understand the control the government has over the population. This group has become known as "The Outcasts" as they stay within the group and rarely associate outside of it.
The government has been made aware of this group and where they reside. They supply oxygen for this group to have enough to keep living, but has taken away residence for them. This was all the could do to punish these outcasts, as the prisons has been limited to murderers, pedophiles, rapist, and repeat offenders of assault, or discrimination. The Outcasts have resorted to living in an abandoned subway which last ran in 2053. Given the amount of years without foot traffic or maintenance, majority of the subway has collapsed except for the main supports.
The Outcasts also have one more secret that drives them away from associating with the general public. Every outcast member is also supernatural, ranging from Lycans and Vampires to Angels to Banshees. This is what brought them together to begin with, then as they got to know each other and share ideas and conspiracies, they grew to be an inseparable group. The group consists of sixteen people, seven boys, nine girls. Ranging from the ages of 19-25, and all shared one goal. To end the governments absolute control over the citizens.
