"Fuck" I said as I looked at the time 7:35. I was supposed to be picking up my friend Scarlett at 8 for some random dude she met yesterday's party.
"Come on Demi curl your hair faster" I mumble to myself.
Let's just say I haven't had the best of days. Firstly my baby sister Paisley woke me up at 6, not fun changing a dirty nappy in the dark. Then I had to go to work at 8, which of course I run out of fuel for my car, so I awkwardly waited at a bus stop for my grandad to pick me up. Then when I arrived at work, being late I got a lecture from my annoying boss who is a bitch so, I just blanked out what she said. When I arrived home my four brothers Nate, Flynn, Leighton and Ross decided to trash the house. Me being the oldest sibling I had to tidy everything up. I then fell over in the shower, dancing to Michael Jackson on a slippery surface isn't a great idea.
About 25 minutes later I'm done, hair curled its not the neatest but it will do, makeup check, Phone and money check.
I ran down the stairs which lead to me stumbling on the last couple of steps. Grabbing my keys I left.
Driving as fast as I can, which isn't very fast because of the legal limit I arrived a Scarlett's. She walked out in a purple dress which hung kind of tight at the top and then flared out op at the bottom. She was also rocking a pair of white high heals with a matching bag.
"Let's go hoe" she said with a wink.
We arrived at the party, let's just say I wasn't prepared at all. People where grinding, people in the hot tubs making out. People covered in uv paint. I was nervous yet thrilled. We both walked through the back door looking for the guy Scar met yesterday, he has blue hair, an eyebrow piercing and has an Australian accent. About 10 minutes later, Scarlett dragged me to a group of boys in the corner of the living room. They were all good looking, I mean they all had amazing jaw lines, defined muscles and were all at least 6 foot tall. One of them was cute, the one with darker skin and dark brown eyes. He looked at me with a smirk and then winked at me. I giggled at his flirtatious act.
I looked to the left where a voice said
"Scarlett so nice to see you here" that was the guy she was going on about
"Oh hey Michael this is Demi" she gestured to me
"Hi" I said slightly awkward, I'm not the most sociable person
"Hey this is Luke" he said as he looked to the tall blue eyed boy. He smiled at me while saying hello "this is Ashton" he was the boy with the luscious curly locks "and this is Calum" oh he's the cute one.
"Nice to meet you" he said giving me a hug. His fingers were cold as they touched my back. We came apart from our hug and I looked for the others but they seemed to have wandered off, great they left me with a very flirtatious boy.
"So you know Scarlett?" He asked me with a polite smile
"Yeah I've known her since birth really she's only 3 days older than me"
"How old are you?"
"18, I'm 19 in 12 days"
"Ah cool, I'm 19"
"Great" here comes the awkward silence. But it didn't last for long.
"Hey do you want a drink or something?" He said looking in his now empty cup.
" Yeah sure" I followed him into the kitchen where I saw a familiar face in the crowd. Of course he'd be here, probably showing off the new hoe he got with a month ago. I grabbed Calum's hand, on purpose.
"Woah, grabbing my hand now?" he turned to me smirking
"My ex showed up to this party to show off the person they left me for last month, please pretend to be my very attractive date?" I said looking into his eyes kind of begging him
"Of course anything for you" I let out the breath of air I was holding in.
" Vodka shots or beer" he said looking at the drinks available. I was kind of questioning myself.
"Fuck it vodka"
