(Hazel Tomlinson)
The second my shift ended at work, I checked my phone tom see if Louis had called me.
Weekdays he was usually busy but weekends we'd sneak in some times to keep in touch.
He hadn't.
So I rode the metro bus home and tried not to worry too much or get too disappointed.
What my Aunt Jane was going to say about Louis having not called for the past week I wouldn't know.
I wouldn't want to know.
Louis and I were her babies.
Our Mom had shipped us off to America when I was three and Louis was five.
We lived in New Mexico with our Aunt Jane together our whole lives.
Until Mom and Dad suddenly wanted Louis back when he was 18.
Yeah, not me just Louis.
They had come to visit us a few times before they made this decision.
Louis was sad of course to be going but he did leave.
I had spent the last three years keeping up with him.
When he became famous, though many people speculate, he didn't change.
He still was my Lou.
And I missed him.
He was supposed to be coming out here during winter break for Christmas.
But that was four long months away.
The bus stopped and I sighed and got up.
"Thanks Margie." I murmured when I was stepping out of the bus.
"You be good Hazel, and tell your brother I said Hi." The kindly African American woman told me.
I glanced back at her puzzled.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
She motioned her head towards my Aunt Jane's house.
I looked and there was my brother's SUV in the driveway.
I gasped and raced off the bus, up the drive, and into the house.
I opened the door and there was my brother, talking to my Aunt Jane with four other guys sitting on the couches.
"LOUIS!!!!!!!" I shrieked, throwing myself at him.
I forgot my audience.
"Hey Haze." He greeted me.
"Y-you're early!" I said, out of breath from my running.
"Yep." He beamed at me.
I hugged him tightly again.
Somebody cleared their throats behind Louis's back.
He pulled away slightly.
"Oh, yeah these are the guys." He gestured to them.
I smiled shyly and waved at them.
"I'm Liam." The one with the shaved head said, holding out his hand.
I shook it, smiling letting out a small "Hi."
"I'm Niall, nice to meet Louis's sister finally." The one with the Irish accent and cute eyes spoke up.
I gave him a greeting too.
Soon Zayn introduced me but I had kind of realized subconciously how the curly haired one's eyes seemed glued on me.
"Hey Hazel, I'm Harry." His voice was as deep as the ocean, which was the exact color of his eyes.
"Hi." I breathed out.
I held my hand out for a hand shake but he held my hand and kissed the top of it.
I swallowed.
It felt as though there was no one else there except for us.
But the moment was gone before anyone noticed.
