Chapter 3

Mia's pov:

"Do you want to go somewhere?" "Yeah." I said as calm as possible. "Where do you want to go?" "I don't know, where ever you want to go." "Okay I'll ask one of my brothers to pick us up, how's the mall?"-ok I know what your thinking, if he has brothers that drive, why do you still take him to school and why doesn't their mom pick them up. It's simple, they're seniors. They don't want to be seen with their sophomore brother. So instead they take they're girlfriends to school and we take Victor to school.- "Okay." "I'll be outside" As soon as I hear my front door shut I panic.

I put some music on to help calm me. I touch up my makeup a bit, slip on my converse, grab my phone and some money, and head out the door.(outfit on external link)

I notice Victor is a couple feet away but he is close enough to hear his conversation. I decide to listen before he sees me. "Please Enrique, you know how much this mean's to me." "I am not going to use her like the other girls." Hold up, what other girls, I'm confused now. "You just set me up with them, I didn't even know them." Well damn. "Your the one that told me to try to get over her, but you know what, I really like Mia. Now are coming to pick us up or not?" "Thanks, Bye."

I couldn't believe what I heard. I walk out and close the door loud enough so he knows I'm there. He looked over and smiled. "He'll be here in a few. Did you hear anything?"
Victor's pov:
       When I saw her hesitate I knew she heard me. "Look, um, I need to tell you something. Even though you already just heard it." I sit down on one of her lawn chairs and motion for her to sit down too. "I really like you, and I was wondering if you'd like to go on an actual date with me." It took her a while to answer me. I started to get nervous. All of a sudden, she hugs me and she whispers in my ear,"I really like you too, and I'd love to go out with you." Right after I hug her back I hear someone clear their throat. We both look over to see my older brothers, Enrique and Eleazar- they're twins by the way-. Eleazar was smirking, he always thought we'd end up together.We got in they're car and drove to the mall. We split up and planned to meet in the food court in an hour and a half.
Mia's pov:

I was going to force Victor to go into Sephora with me but then I noticed it was time to go to the food court. We all got our food and found a place to sit. As I sat down, Victor asked me if I had any plans for Friday night. I said I didn't and he just smiled and started eating.
