Adam POV:
"Wassup Adam!" A coworker waved at me as he passes me by, but I don't really know or care to know about his name. "What's up" I replied as I poured myself some coffee from the kettle pot. This might seem like your ordinary office place, but you'd be wrong. We gain money, not from selling products, but by exploiting others. I never wanted this type of job, believe me. I'm only here so I could make ends meet, just barely passing by. I look around and sigh when I see Vanessa walking over, "Hey Adam~" She says as she walks to my side holding onto my arm, "Got any plans tonight?". I exhale and replied, "You're pretty persistent, even though I told you off countless times". "Aww c'mon! Don't be like that!", Vanessa says as she hugs tighter. "You're the only attractive guy here, and I also happen to be very attractive-", "And I'm not attracted to you!" I interrupted as the workplace overheard and they perked up to watch and I overhear a "what a waste" in the crowd. I try to consul Vanessa as she was on the brink of tears. "You know, what? Fine I'll fucking give up on you! I feel bad for anyone who would have to date your heartless ass!" She storms off and I'm left with glaring eyes at the workplace. The boss shows up and tells everyone to get back to work and they all swiftly go back to their work. "Cyrus, I need you to come to a meeting, room 303. We'll discuss something important, and we'll need you there. Be there in 5.", "Will do" I reply as I sip my coffee. Damn these breaks are never long enough! I roll my eyes as I head down the office to room 303. I hope Mr. Damocles gives me a raise cause I'm tired of this bullshit. I walk into the office and the only chair left was one next to Vanessa, she glared and switched with the person next to her. Hah, makes it easier for me. I sit down as the meeting starts. "Alright, may I have your attention please?" Mr. Damocles says as he stands in front of a board for presentation. "We have found another possible victim on whom we can steal from, only issue being that he is someone with high security and stealing from him won't be an easy feat.", "So you called me here over a job that Vanessa could do?" I asked. "Vanessa can't do this mission" Mr. Damocles states. "The guy we're speaking of is only interested in men." He shows a slideshow and now I'm starting to pick up what we're up to. "The guy we're planning to steal from is named Jax Cruz-Gonzales, he's born into wealth and power and recently turned single due to the death of his lover. Right now, he's under emotional stress which means, you Adam, will have to swoop him up and steal his heart, then his cash. You up for it?" I look at Jax's picture a boy who's wearing makeup clearly, not that he looks bad in it... "I've never been into dudes..." I reply. "Then that should make the job easier right?" Mr. Damocles responds. "Alright, then we're doing this!, Adam will be the one to lead the Target on!, You'll get a good chunk of the profit." Mr Damocles says and I fall back in my chair; I can't believe I'm doing this...
