A young lady by the name of Kelsei Queen, from the city of HTX moves out of state for college. While there focusing on school and school only she comes across a certain someone that is not typically Kelsei's "type".
"Kels get up you're gonna be late" I let out a loud groan and rolled over as my roommate stood in the doorway to my room. I got out of bed once I noticed she walked away. I'm currently in my 4th & FINAL year of the Nursing program here at GSU! I made my way to the closet, picked a quick fit, laid it on my bed and went to the bathroom. I did my skin care routine & brushed my teeth, I checked the time and I was definitely gonna be late & I don't do late so I rushed to put my clothes on, grabbed my bag & basically ran to class. As I'm speed walking to class I looked down to check the time on my phone and ran into a girl that I know for sure I haven't seen on campus, "Oh I-I'm so sorry" she just looked at me, smiled & walked off. Weird but ok???? I continued walking to class. When I finally made it I seen my homegirl and hurried to my seat. "Girl you 10 minutes late, hell was you doing" she said watching me get my things together, "I was up all night working girl" I said laughingly but serious.
Once class was over we started walking to the cafe to get some snacks for our other classes, I brought up the girl from earlier because I spotted her with a group of people. "That's the girl I was telling you about that I bumped into" I said as I made eye directions towards her, "Girl that's Gio, she so fine lord" We both busted out laughing but she looked at me crazy, "I know ms."myman" ain't checking for Gioooo" I laughed and pushed her shaking my head, "Girl boo" I never dated a woman and didn't plan on it, she was just very good looking that's all I guess. We bought our snacks, said our goodbyes and headed to our next classes.
Later on that day I went to the library to check out some books I've been wanting to grab, as I was walking in with head down in my phone per usual I bumped into somebody else and when I looked up it was her again. "At this point I'm starting to think you doing this on purpose" she laughed a lil and looked at me, "Me? Nah, you. You the one keep bumping into me" I laughed while analyzing her, she had face tats but not too big; very small and cute, she had grills in that showed everytime she talked or laughed.. She snapped my out of my daze, "You good?" I covered my face in embarrassment, "I'm sorry, I got distracted" I shyly laughed, "You're fine, my fault for bumping into you. I guess I'll see you around" I just nodded in agreement and she walked off. Awkward much kelsei geesh, I face palmed myself and headed to my next class.
5 PM**
As I finished up the rest of my homework I heard a knock at my door but before I could get up my roommate beat me to it so I focused myself back to my studies. "Hey i'm looking for Kelsei, is this her room?" I heard a familiar voice ask, I got out of bed and peeked around the corner to see who it was but couldn't see too much. As I heard my roommates footsteps coming towards my room I hurried back to my bed as if I was still doing homework. "Hey kels, someone's at the door for you" "Did they say a name? who is it" I got up slipping on my shoes to go check, "No but she's pretty tho" she said as I was passed her, she?! why would a girl be coming to my- "Hey stranger" the girl said interrupting my thoughts. "Stalking me is crazy" "Oh girl please, I just wanted to see if you were free later tonight" is she asking me out?! Let's not be delusional kels be forreal right now, "If I say yes what does that get me?" she chuckled but I swear I don't know what was funny.. "Um just to hang out??? Get to know one another, I mean if that's ok with you" "I'd lo-" before I could get my answer my roommate came out from her room completely cutting me off.
"She can't, she got a man.. right kels" she looked at me smirking, is this bitch trying to play in my face or I'm tripping? I seen Gio's body language change, "Weirdo ass bitch" I mumbled under my breath, "I'd love to actually, that'd be nice" she smiled showing her grill more and I got this weird feeling in my stomach.. I've never been attracted to a female in my life I don't know where this is coming from. "Perfect, I'll be back around 8" she kissed me on the cheek before leaving, as I went back into the dorm my roommate stopped me in my tracks, "You know if you go out with her you're basically cheating on MJ right?" I looked at this ho like she was insane, "Why the fuck you always in my business? I don't recall me saying shit about all them niggas you be bringing all thru this mf. And another thing, whatever I do is cool. I'm a grown ass woman, I can go out for drinks with another female tf." after that she didn't mumble a word, ate that ass up and clocked her tea so fast I hope she learned to mind her business.
