A new resident

* Before I start this chapter I want to let you know I've changed the naruto story timeline a smig to work better with what I'm trying to do in my story because a lot rides on the chunin exams. So instead of them saving Yukigakure AFTER the chunin exams in my story it will be BEFORE.

(In the leaf village. Hokage pov.)

I sat at my desk working on all the papers on my desk. Another ordinary day in the leaf.

"Lord Hokage!! " a voice shouted.

Maybe I spoke too soon.

A Anbu came into the room knelt down in usual position. They held a scroll in their hands.

"A message from the snow. "

I grabbed the scroll and the Anbu left. I unraveled the scroll and read everything on it. After thinking and processing it I let out a sigh.

Looks like we have a new resident joining us.

I called an Anbu and gathered a three man squad. The three stood in front of me.

" This is a S-Rank mission. Yukigakure has just been attacked and the Princess will be arriving soon. It's critical that you protect her at all means. Meet her at the docks. Go now. She'll be arriving soon. And I want her brought straight to me when you get back. " They all bowed and left as quickly as they came.

*Some time later

They returned. There was a knock on the door.

" Enter. "

A young girl came in. She had medium tan skin and a extremely long white hair that was in two ponytails that reached her ankles. She had on She had on a turtle neck, long sleeve, white dress with her village symbol at the bottom and slits on both sides of the dress. she had on grey leggings, ninja shoes. She also had gloves. Her headband was wrapped around her waist. She had a headband-like crown on her head. Her face was completely emotionless. For her to he adopted she was a lot like her mother; This was definitely Koyuki's daughter.

Her face had a sort of innocence that looked almost infant-like, though it was clear she was a young teen. She bowed her head to me and I did the same.

" Oujo-Sama, it's looks like you will be staying with us temporarily. So I have one of the village ninja to help get you settled in and better dressed. From now on do not mention who you are or you last name. There will be a Ninja to help you settle in when you walk out these doors. Tomorrow afternoon come back to meet me. We have some things to discuss. " She nodded and left.

The lack of emotion from the child was frightening. What must have happened during that attack to make her like this. Or was this just the way she'd always been?
After taking myself out of deep thought I quickly went to finding information on the attack and this sudden Princess.

( Miyuki's pov)

I walked out the Hokage's room to see a girl around my age standing there. She had fair skin and long blonde hair that was up in a ponytail with a bang going to the side. Her eyes were light blue and she wore a short purple vest like blouse with a raised collar, a purple apron skirt that is cut off on the sides and bandages on her stomach and legs. She also wore purple and white elbow warmers with this, and her forehead protector around her waist as a belt.
She held clothes in her arms folded up. She smiled at me while closing her eyes.

" It's a pleasure to meet you I'm Yamanka, Ino and you must be Miyuki-San right? Geez no one told me you were this pretty! How do you keep looking so young? "
