The All Valley was finally here, and Miguel was very excited. Or, Maya guessed he was, he didn't say much about it. Maya saw that it was almost time for the students to go inside and sign up and get ready, so Maya went over to the group to wish them good luck before she went with her mom to the stands.

"Hey Miggy, I just wanted to tell you good luck." Maya smiled, Miguel was practicing his punches.

"Thanks, Maya." Maya turned to Eli, who smiled at her.

"Good luck Eli." Maya smiled, running back to where she knew her mom and her Ya-Ya would be.

Maya sat next to her mom, she could see Cobra Kai and all the other contestants. Unexpectedly, Robby was fighting, but he didn't have a dojo. Something seemed to have happened with Daniel, but no one talked about it.

"You can do this Hawk!" Maya shouted she didn't think that he would want everyone to know his 'real' name so Maya was just calling him Hawk for the tournament.

"Is that your boyfriend, Maya?" Maya quickly turned to her mom.

"No! He's just me and Miguel's friend." Carmen nodded slowly, she didn't completely believe Maya but she decided to leave it alone.

Maya watched as the first match started, and Miguel went first. Johnny spoke to him for a moment before he went, and then he did a move that Maya had never seen before but he still got the point. Maya smiled and clapped hard as Miguel smiled at the point he'd gotten.

As the matches continued, most of the Cobras started to win. Maya watched intently as Eli went, and the referee grabbed his arm and held it in the air. Eli tore off his shirt, yelling and showing off his back tattoo. Maya heard herself squeal, quickly covering her mouth so her mom wouldn't hear her. Hawk made eye contact with Maya who covered her mouth, he winked at her, and that only seemed to make her blush more.

Finally, Hawk and Miguel were in the semi-finals. So was Robby. There was another boy that was in the finals but Maya couldn't remember his name, not that she cared much, she just wanted Miguel to win.

Maya clutched her mom's hand as Miguel went against the boy in blue. Maya knew the boy had more practice at karate than Miguel did, which meant he had more chance of getting hurt. Thankfully, Miguel won three to one.

"Yes, go Miggy!" Maya shouted, Miguel, looked in her direction and smiled. Even if Sam wasn't chanting for him, he knew that Maya always would.

Then, it was Eli against Robby. Hawk had seen how Robby looked at Maya, it was similar to the way he had first looked at Maya. When Hawk desperately wanted to know more about her, when his dreams were filled with him and her. The only thing he wanted was to be with Maya, and if he had that then he would be the best at karate.

Robby looked at her like that. Maya didn't seem to notice, but it still bothered Hawk. He always knew guys and girls had crushes on her, but Robby was so close to her and Hawk knew he wanted to get closer to her. He couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't let that happen.

Maya made eye contact with Robby as Eli jumped up on the mat. Maya felt bad that he didn't have a Sensei to instruct him, and he didn't seem to have a parent there either. Maya waved at him, and he smiled and waved back. Eli immediately noticed, and then the match started. Eli got the point, and then Maya saw Daniel LaRusso yell something at Robby.

Robby breathed for a moment, keeping his eyes closed until the match started, then he scored a point. Maya saw the two say something to each other, but as Robby had his back turned Eli kicked him in the shoulder. Maya clasped her hand over her mouth as Robby clutched his shoulder. Eli had hurt him, and Maya could tell. Eli was disqualified, and he wasn't too happy about it. There was a short break between the semi-finals and the finals, so Maya decided to check on Robby. To make sure Eli hadn't hurt him too badly.
