This guy spent like half of his life in the bathtub. His skin irritated him if he spent a few days without water. Lucky for him, due to his battles he would always be soaking wet from his jutsus but after Pein told him to stay on standby for a few days, he began hating himself and became more snappy and angry.

I cautiously entered our now shared room while Kisame was sulking on the bed to put my cloak away and he glared making me flinch. "I told you I wanted to be alone" he said darkly

I tensed up "I'm just trying to put my cloak back"

He frowned some more "Then leave!"

I sighed having enough of his attitude and snapped back "WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM! You aren't sleeping or eating, and you spend the entire day sulking! What is wrong with you!"

He clenched his teeth "I don't know!! I'm irritated!"

I sighed "When was the last time you went on a mission"

"I don't know three days ago... what you are going to say that I'm acting aggressive because I hadn't had a kill in 72 hours?!! Why because you think I'm a monster?" he said while sitting up angrily.

I smiled and shook my head "Nope but I think I know why you are upset"

He stopped yelling and watched as I took his hand feeling his skin "You poor thing. You are all dried up"

He looked at me cluelessly until I explained "You always get pissed off when your skin hasn't had enough water. How about I ready a bath for you, and you will feel much better"

He opened his mouth to speak then stopped, thinking about what I said and followed me into the bathroom. I told him to strip down while I filled up the tub. He got into the water and let out a relaxed sigh feeling his entire body relax. He smiled to himself seeing that I was right.

I smiled and kissed his cheek then got up to leave but he pulled me back "Can you join?"

I smiled and nodded taking off my clothes and slid into the tub with my back against his broad chest. He hugged me close and looked down at my body seeing all the scarred-up bite marks. "I'm sorry"

I smiled "It's fine. I get mood swings too sometimes and you handle me just fine"

He kissed my cheek "I meant the marks... I ruined your skin"

I bit my lip in frustration and leaned my head back on to him "It's fine... I know you do it because you love me. Just don't leave me because no one would want to come near a body like this"

He felt his heart writhe at those words and hugged me tighter "You bear me so much... what do you even seen in an old fish like me?"

I slid my hands over his strong arms that were wrapped around me and smiled "Because you are cute, and you always make me laugh. I love everything about you the least I can do is handle you in your angry moments"

He smiled peppering my neck with kisses resisting the urge to bite so he wouldn't ruin my skin any further.
