Hi my name ivy park and I am 15 years old I live in Georgia and I love skating and I want to be a skate champion but that was only a dream I live with aunt Molly and she hates Me one because she can't have kids if her own you'd think she'd love me like her own but no and two she doesn't like me because my mother died at my birth and my father offed himself so I was sent to live with her it was fine when I was younger but she's to controlling and I can't do anything but go to school and church it's really don't get my wrong I love going to church and Sunday school because I get to talk and hang out with other kids and at school that's really the only reason why I go and you might ask why not sneak out or run away but this lady knows every trick in the book when it comes to sneaking out it's really not fair she doesn't let me talk to anybody and I just recently convinced her to let me get a phone but she won't let me get anyone's number like it's so stupid  why would she do that ugh anyways now it's time for me to go to school

I get ready and then I go to school and at school is my best friend Vanessa

"Hay Vanessa" I say " hi bestieee how's it going" she replies " eh it could be better ". I say " oh so have you come up with a plan to run away or anything to get out of the house?" She asked " actually I have " I answered her question,she looks at me confused as if this was the fist time I had come up with something "oo tell me you have to tell me". She says excitedly. " okay okay just wait I have to get something out " I relied and I hurried and grabbed what I needed from my backpack " alright he it is it's a map of all the secret places I could hide and I think we should leave together so will you go with me?" I ask " of course! I've been waiting to get out of this hell hole for years " she says in response " nice now all we have to do is wait till my aunt is at work and you're mom or dad are not home " she nods in agreement " so would we do it during the day?" She asks me " yes my aunt doesn't leave the house after dark" she nods " okay how much clothing should we bring ?" She asks " about two hoodies two pairs of pants and a pair of socks and don't forget the underwear and the toiletries yknow and I think that's it I'll bring toothpaste and tooth brushes and you bring they girly stuff ". I say "okay " she says " also can I bring a friend I think you may know her  but she kinda in a bad situation with her dad" Venessa said "yeah you can bring her imma also bring another person they're having family problems right now " i said think about them " okay I'll call them you also know we can't have phones right?" Vanessa said to me." yeah, I know." so then Vanessa text the two friends and then we split up and we go get ready I walk in the door. My Aunt Molly stops me. She says hand me your phone. I had my phone to her I mean at least I can't have it anyways so like it doesn't matter and then I walked to my room and I act like I'm getting in the shower and getting ready for bed. As I start to get ready to leave I hear someone throw a rock against my window. I look out the window and there's Vanessa and I can't make out who the other person is. I think it might be allison but we just call her Allie "one minute " I say, as I hear, my Aunt call me downstairs " ivy I'm getting ready for bed don't you do anything stupid " she then walks in her room and closes the door and turns off the light then I go to my head back up to my room I get ready to leave then I few minutes later i'm out the window, turned off the lights and shut and locked my door as I climbed out the window. I hear Vanessa talking quietly, but just loud enough for me to hear she says."be careful and don't forget you're skates" I whispered back. " I have my skates and everything else I triple check" I reach the floor and we head off to my friends house

As we reach my friends house, we throw rocks at a window just careful enough not to break anything she comes to the window and she starts climbing down and as she washes the floor she says "howdy y'all let's get out of here " Just then we hear someone walk up the stairs and turn on the light we book it we were as fast as we possibly could" oh my gosh" Vanessa breaths out with a big gasp. I can't believe we got away from there. " me too. Oh my gosh." I said, as I look up at the sky and I see bright city lights as we have been walking for a while and running too. " oh my gosh look at the sky y'all" Everybody looked at the sky and they just sat there because we we never went into the city. We've been walking for hours. Our folks wouldn't let us leave the town or anything not even for an emergency. We have a small hospital back home. " will I'll be Dammed that's prettier than a cat. Playing in the barn."ain't that the truth." Allison said agreeing with. savannah." all right guys we should keep walking because we could get caught right here because the city lights are so bright everybody degrees and keep walking. We find a place in the forest and we set up then we plan for where we go next
