The big quidditch match was one day away. Oliver was going nuts over it. He kept calling for extra practices. Cassandra was on her way to an extra practice right now with Harry. The two had become closer in the past month. They did a lot of things together, including making fun of Draco.

"Are you nervous for tomorrow?" Harry asked Cassandra. They made their way onto the quidditch field with their brooms.

"Not really." Cassandra answered. "I have a feeling that we're going to crush Hufflepuff. I have a question that I've been meaning to ask. Who is the Hufflepuff seeker?"

"Cedric Diggory." Harry replied. "I don't know if you know who that is."

"Oh yeah I definitely know him. I kind of accidentally bumped into him at Kings Cross." Cassandra chuckled.

"Do you bump into people often?" Harry inquired. Their teammates were now starting to join them.

"Yeah, actually, I do. It's one of my many skill sets." Cassandra joked.

Oliver then came onto the field. He looked like he was going to give them a hard time. Cassandra swallowed and tried not to laugh whenever Oliver raised his voice at the team. It was funny how seriously Oliver took the game.

~~

"Good morning, Cas." Hermione said. "Big day today."

"Yep, it is." Cassandra yawned. "I'll be back in five minutes."

Cassandra changed into some "festive" Gryffindor gear and met Hermione in the common room. The girls then headed to the Great Hall, where Harry and Ron already were. Lately, Ron and Harry were up before Cassandra and Hermione which was odd. Ron always slept in late.

"Good morning boys." Cassandra said, sitting down at the table.

"Don't you look festive this morning." Ron said, eyeing Cassandra up and down. He silently judged her outfit of choice.

"Captain's orders." Cassandra muttered, doubting Ron would even care to know.

"Are you ready to lose?" Some Hufflepuff girl asked, walking past their table.

"Just ignore her, you two." Hermione huffed. "I think you two are going to be brilliant."

"Thanks Hermione." Cassandra and Harry said in unison.

"Since when did you two start talking at the same time?" Ron wondered. "You sound like my brothers."

"Dunno." Harry replied, taking a bite of his food. "Is it raining outside?"

"Appears to be." Cassandra responded. "Let's hope it clears up before the match."

~~

The rain didn't clear up before the match, in fact it just kept getting worse.

"Are we really going to play in this?" Cassandra asked. She was standing in between Harry and Oliver.

"We have to." Oliver replied. "Alright everyone, put a spell on your goggles to keep them from fogging up."

Everyone did as instructed.

Soon they were off. Cassandra ducked, dodged, and hit people. She accidentally hit Cedric with the quaffle a couple of times, but nobody on the Hufflepuff team got the quaffle. Cassandra scored at least three times, aided in two scores, and stole the quaffle a couple of times. Oliver was proud and was glad that he had chosen Cassandra.

The weather just kept getting worse. Cassandra was now struggling to see but still tried her hardest. She looked around for Harry and saw him flying around, looking for the snitch. She could tell he struggled to hold onto the broom. She flew by Hermione and Ron once, thinking that Hermione looked cute with her wet hair and clothes.

Harry caught sight of the snitch as did Cedric, flying up into the clouds. Cassandra felt her heart pound against her chest. Harry was now out of her eyesight and she didn't want to see her friend get hurt. She snapped out of it and continued to aid her teammates on the field. She scored another goal before she saw Harry's body fall to the ground.

~~

"Who won?" Harry asked Cassandra and the Weasley Twins.

"Hufflepuff." Cassandra answered. "Cedric caught the snitch after you had fallen."

"Wood is taking a shower." Fred said, completely out of the blue.

"He's probably drowning himself." George added.

"It's not your fault." Cassandra assured.

"Harry, your broomstick." Hermione said, holding out the broken bits. "It got smashed by the whomping willow."

Harry looked like he was about to cry.

"I'm sorry, Harry." Cassandra whispered. "Did a dementor attack?"

"Yeah, I heard the scream again." Harry whispered.

Cassandra and Harry had discussed when they passed out on the train. They discussed everything they heard, said, saw. They made a list of things or people that it could be.

"Talk to me later, okay?" Cassandra said. "Madam Pompfrey said you should be getting out today."

Harry nodded. Cassandra left the hospital wing and went off to find Oliver. She was worried about him and how he felt about losing the match. She rounded a corner and bumped into a hard surface.

"Watch where you're going, Snape." Draco muttered, walking away.

Cassandra rolled her eyes. Draco was one of the only people at Hogwarts that knew she was a Snape. It bothered her that he knew her identity. One wrong move and she could be exposed.

~~

Cassandra and Harry sat next to each other in Defense Against the Dark Arts, patiently waiting for Professor Lupin to arrive. Instead of Professor Lupin, Professor Snape walked into the room.

He flicked his wand, closing the windows so that the classroom was dark. He pulled down a projector screen.

"Turn to page 394." Professor Snape announced.

Cassandra flipped to the page. The page was on werewolves. Cassandra looked up at her dad and glared at him.

"Professor Snape?" Cassandra asked. "May I talk to you out in the hallway?"

Professor Snape motioned for her to step out into the hallway. She got up and walked into the hallway.

"C'mon, you know we're not supposed to be learning about werewolves." Cassandra whisper-yelled.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Professor Snape said.

"Remus! You know he's a werewolf and the full moon was the other day. I can't believe you're making us write about werewolves. Are you trying to expose him?"

"Cassandra, honey, just do as you're told or there will be consequences. Now get back into the classroom. I don't want to hear you arguing with Draco Malfoy either."

Cassandra huffed and walked back into the classroom.
