Aquaman: Our fight was indecisive but then it reached a pivotal moment when he hesitated, I wanted to finish him off but he fell to the ground on his own and didn't wake up.
Green Lantern: It seems whatever magic that revived him faded when Loki killed himself.
Zatanna: To his lengthy past, at least he's finally found his peace as well.

Black Canary: As for the others, both Captain Cold and Cheetah got away.
Green Arrow: Deadshot was arrested by the police after our fight.
Flash: Thawn escaped as soon as the winter stopped.
Batman: That still leaves us with three criminals who are wanted, not to mention the others who didn't show up at all.
Wonder Woman: Bruce is right, we did stop Loki but now it looks like it's quiet before the storm.
Flash: Don't be so negative Cassie, we stopped him and we deserve a breather.

Bruce asked Kara who had been quiet the whole time and sat there.
Kara: I brought him to my place; he was asleep when I left.
Wonder Woman: He deserves it, considering what he's been through, never mind the fact that Loki caused all this was still his last family member and now he has none.
She said sympathetically to his situation. Cassie had been great friends with him since they first met each other.

Black Canary: Ollie, he needs rest and alone time now.
Batma. Dinah's right, we've all done well, give yourselves a few days off and we'll meet like this in a week.
Change scene
As the League meeting came to an end, unaware of what was approaching them, the asteroid, flying through space at high speed, approached the planet Earth, from which it was just three days away.
Kara's apartment Metropolis
Kara landed on the balcony of her apartment, stepped inside and smelled the aroma coming from her kitchen.
Kara: What smells so good in here?
She wondered out loud. She quickly went to change and after a few moments she arrived in the kitchen following the pleasant smell. She spotted Luke making lunch.
She quickly walked up to him and hugged him from behind looking over her shoulder at him.
Kara: Hmmm, it smells and looks good too what will it be?
She looked up at him with a smile and they both shared a kiss.
Luke: Well since I've been spending a lot of time at your place, I thought I'd be a little helpful and cook us some lunch.
He smiled looking into her eyes. It's a recipe I found on the web a while back and have made a few times, it's called Caponata flatbread.
Kara: I've never heard of that before ...
Luke: It's a classic Sicilian dish, it's like a homemade pizza. Everybody who's had it has enjoyed it.
Kara: Hmm, I can't wait.
She smiled nuzzling him from behind.
When the food was done, he placed it on the table on a large platter, cut into rectangles.

Kara: It looks fantastic hmmm...
Smelling a nice flavour from it as well.
But before she started eating Luke took Kara's hands and pulled her to him, looking into her eyes.
Luke: I'm sorry you had to see me like that... I felt so angry and I... I couldn't control myself.
He looked down at the ground but she lifted his chin with her hand.
Kara: You don't have to apologize for anything, I don't know what you saw in there but I'm here if you want to talk about it. Together we can do anything, I know you think you're alone now and have no family but I'm your family. Your friends are your family, my parents love you too.
He looked at her and gently captured her lips with his own. They kissed for a while until they pulled apart and joined their foreheads.
Luke: I love you Kara, you are my everything and no matter what happens I will always be with you and we will always find our way to each other.
They smiled and hugged each other tightly.
Luke: But now we should eat that food so it doesn't get cold.
Kara: I'm starving already.
They both sat down at the table and started to eat a delicious lunch, eating, talking.
It seemed like nothing could disturb these coming days of peace and serenity.
The Batcave three days later
Oracle: Bruce I'd be happy to go over that data, you don't have to help me with that. I have time now.
She said into the ear piece of his mask.
Bruce: How's Jason?
Oracle: He's fine, he says hi and says you should slow down and take some time off too since you gave it to the others.
Selina Kyle: That's what I've been saying to him too, dear.
The voice of a former thief could be heard.
Bruce: Fine, you two, say hi to him for me.
He grunted in his deep voice.
Selyna Kyle: Okay enough ...
She came into the room in a revealing outfit, showing off her assets, and sat next to Bruce on the table.
Oracle: Okay, Bruce hi.
Barbara ended the connection immediately.
Selyna Kyle: Bruce, come on ...
Taking off his mask and holding his hand, she led him away.
Unbeknownst to them as they left the room the Brother Eye had picked up an asteroid that had flown through the atmosphere and crashed into the Atlantic.
