"Gaea." She heard his voice before she felt his arms wrap around her shoulders and pull her into a sitting position. She forced herself to blink away nausea and darkness, though her vision was blurry. "That's it. Eyes open, Gaea. We need to get you out of here." The young man belonging to the voice lifted her to her feet, but the floor pitched and she stumbled with a grunt. "Easy, easy."
"What is...I don't..." she could only groan, unable to make sense of her chaotic thoughts. What was going on? Oh, yes, she realized as her grip on the man became stronger, dead pirates, making terribly daft decisions, and being concussed.
"Slow down, please, I need to — " She cut herself off, grabbing at his robes to keep herself from crashing again. He paused as she found her footing and her vision cleared. Gaea then noticed something warm and sticky dripping from her throbbing head. She ignored it, calling on the Force to clear her muddled mind.
"Gaea, do I need to pick you up?"
"Don't you dare," she growled at him. "I can handle myself on my own, you know."
"Well, pardon me for coming back to save you, oh Wise and Stubborn One," he retorted. "We wouldn't be in this situation in the first place if you hadn't gone off alone."
"Next time, when you go missing and your head gets slammed into a duracrete wall, I will take great pleasure in mocking you as you recover." She tripped over her own feet and let out a yelp, forcing him to slow down.
