I could hear the murmurs of others around me discussing their plans for the game, however as I looked up to Chishiya to do the same, his face told me he was uninterested by the idea. I rolled my eyes and began scanning the room for potential teammates. Afterall, when the tiniest mistake could lead to your death, the more allies the better.
The sound of another announcement chimed from the phone in my hand, making me raise it infront of my face. Oh crap- I thought to myself as I read the words it presented on the illuminated screen.
DIFFICULTY: FIVE OF SPADES
I grunted as I came to the realisation that I'd definitely need a teammate now. There was no way I'd survive a spades game by myself. Back in the normal world, I hated the idea of exercising to get fit, I'd rather spend my time doing something that will actually benefit me or my career.

Of course the rules couldn't play according to my favour, I mumbled in my head. Once again, other contestants around me turned to each other in hopes of finding a partner or team. The thought of having to compete alongside Chishiya made me feel nervous, I'd rather die than partner up with him, he'd probably sacrifice me if he needed to anyway.
