(A/n: For those that have read my other stories, I'm going to be trying something new this story)
2nd P.O.V
As the bullheads land at the entrance of Beacon Academy, teenagers swarm off, hoping to or being overconfident enough to believe they would get into the said academy
Though the ones that weren't as vocally or visibly thrilled casually walked
There was one that stuck out, a red-haired male with a red cloak wrapped around his body
The said cloak seemed as if it were meant for royalty this is you, the way you hold yourself in a high manner, it was obvious you radiated confidence but seemed to not see those around you as beneath you, well not until you have faced them in battle
As you walked, you hear an explosion in the distance, ignoring it. You keep walking
After some time, you 'see' a familiar red-haired spartan, even though you could not actually see her. You knew who it was
"Pyrrha Nikos, I was not expecting to see thee so soon." You get closer to the girl. "Have thy been well?"
"Yes, I've been good. How about you, Y/n?" She asks, looking up as he is significantly taller, her green eyes looking into your golden
"I have been as well as I can be," you tell her, giving no sign of wavering. Despite your words, your vibe gives off a hint of sorrow
Without another word, you both walk to the main hall in silence. It was obvious the emerald eyed spartan wanted to talk but decided not to
Despite knowing each other for a few years, neither of you would say you are friends, even if one wants to
The two having crossed swords on multiple occasions, they always ended with the same result: Y/n being the victor
As you walk side by side, you get stared at from the ones around you, mostly the spartan, but they were thinking that you were just her brother that no one knew of
"Those glasses suit you," She comments while looking at your glasses that don't have any lenses
Though they don't allow you to fully see, you can see vague outlines of living creatures, although unaware of how your brother did it. You are grateful even though it was an unnecessary addition
"Thank you, my brother worked hard on my helmet so it can be more 'modern' than it's original design" You tap the side of your glasses and with a golden glow your glasses are now replaced by a golden helmet that have wings on both sides
"Well, that must be quite useful." You press the button once again as she glances at your prosthetic arm. "I'm guessing he did the same for your sword?"
You give a nod as you make a fist, focused your aura into your palm, and a long golden sword forms in a golden light much like the helmet
"At first, he wanted to change everything about it, such as making it look like an actual arm and adding dust cartridges."
"And you didn't want that, right?" She asks, looking at your sword trying to picture you using a dust infused sword but can not picture you using something like that as you learned to only use the sword and what to do in any situation
Even though it probably wasn't a good idea to give someone who couldn't see a ranged option, the thought of your attacks having the addition of elemental properties scared the spartan
"No, weapons are exactly that, they are not toys that one can tinker with whenever they wish, they are to be honed, deadly, and well taken care of as the blade is only as good as the one wielding it" the blade then began to dissipate as you bring up your hand and 'look' at it "So when thee crosses blades with someone it's to see who the better warrior is, not who has the the better modifications"
You 'look' at the sword strapped to the girls back "Even if it allows thee to be more flexible in battle although when felled in battle by one with no such things it just means they were the better warrior" You face forward thoughts of battles you have won, even ones where it felt as if it were a loop with a few men and women dying from your blade multiple times as if time would reset once they die yet not at the same time
"Experience does trump skill." Pyrrha looks up at you with admiring eyes. "I have no where near enough experience as you"
"And I wish thee don't get the same as I," you turn your head in her direction. "Wars change even the gentlest of people." This caught the spartan off guard as this is the first she ever heard of you being involved in a war, especially since you are both the same age
You then enter the main hall where the new arrivals have gathered up, waiting for the teachers, when the two of you got here you didn't make anymore conversation, you just stood there in a comfortable silence
You didn't pay attention to anything going on around you. You didn't even pay attention when the headmaster did his speech, only coming back to reality when the blonde teacher spoke up dismissing the students
Without a word, you walked away catching the eye of many with how elegant you walked but also with how tall you are (you're at 6ft7in/204.216cm at the moment, I know Malenia is actually 8ft/284.84cm tall but y/n is like 17 so of course your gonna be shorter than Malenia's canon hieght)
You have found a spot where you could be alone, so you brought a chair over to said spot, you detach your prosthetic arm before sitting down and taking off your glasses as well and just sat there now feeling the effects of the rot coursing through your body with a stronger potentcy
You sat there 'looking' to the sky. Feeling the pain of the rot, yet you didn't feel a thing at the same time, the only thing you felt was lost
You felt lost without your brother
Your other half
Your better half
(A/n: Alright, I hope you liked this. I had the idea of this story a month and a half ago, and I finally decided to try and write it. This will just be a casual writing story where I can just take my time with, so don't expect long chapters)
