"Well come on in." Lester says as he lets the group into his house as they see a large amount of alien related stuff.
"Have you told the media about your experience?" Fred asks curiously.
"Yes. A number of times. But they think I'm some kind of nut!" Lester says angrily.
"Is this the kind of spaceship you went on?" Alexis asks as she looks at a hanging toy.
"Yes! Something like that." Lester says.
"But you said you had pictures." Fred says.
"You bet I do! Lots of pictures!" Lester says as he removes a sheet from some objects to reveal paintings.
"Paintings." Daphne says in disappointment.
"I'm a landscape artist." Lester says.
"They're very nice Lester. You're uh very talented." Alexis says.
Well thank you. I been tryin' to show people the danger out there... but no one is believin' me." Lester says sadly.
"This looks like the ship we saw earlier!" Shaggy says as he looks at a painting.
"Yeah!" Scooby-Doo says.
"We don't even know we saw a ship." Fred says.
"Well we know we saw something. And whatever it was it was loud." Alexis says.
"What are these?" Daphne asks as she and Alexis see some objects outside.
"SALF dishes. The government put 'em up about a year ago." Lester says.
"What are they for?" Alexis asks.
"SALF means Search for Alien Life Forms." Lester says.
"They send and monitor messages to and from space... Hoping to find intelligent life." Velma says.
"Ever since they built them dishes aliens started to show up. And I know why!" Lester shouts.
"Why Lester?" Alexis asks.
"To take over the world!" Lester shouts.
"I think Lester's been out painting in the sun too long." Fred says.
"Maybe but there may be a connection between those dishes and the aliens. I think we should investigate." Velma says.
"I got more pictures in the back room. You want to see 'em?" Lester asks.
"No thanks. Is there a hotel in this town?" Fred asks.
"There ain't no hotel. But you're welcome to stay here for the night." Lester says.
"You're very kind but..." Daphne says nervously.
"You ladies can sleep in the back room. Used to be the kids'... 'til they moved out. And you young fella... can sleep on the couch." Lester says.
"What about us?" Shaggy asks.
"Don't worry. I've got a place for you, too." Lester says as he gestures for everyone to follow him.
*Timeskip*
"Thank you again for helping me look for my friends." Alexis says as she is riding in vehicle with a woman and her dog after finding Shaggy and Scooby-Doo gone last night and having gone looking for them only to run into the woman and her dog the next morning.
"No problem. I can't believe your friends snuck out on you guys without saying anything. You're pretty brave for going looking for them by yourself." The woman says as Alexis blushes shyly.
"Oh thanks. You didn't have to pick me up though. I mean finding a stranger in the desert is a little odd." Alexis says shyly.
"Maybe but I like odd." The woman says as she smiles at Alexis.
"There they are!" Alexis says as she spots Scooby-Doo and Shaggy on the ground nearby before the woman stops her vehicle.
"Hey man are you all right?" The woman asks as she, Alexis and a dog run over to a laying down Scooby-Doo and Shaggy on the ground.
"Shaggy, Scooby-Doo are you both okay?" Alexis asks worriedly.
"Where are we?" Shaggy asks.
"You're out in the middle of nowhere man. Like what are you guys doing out here?" The woman asks.
"Hi." Shaggy says as he smiles at the woman.
"Hi. You okay?" The woman asks as Scooby-Doo goes over to the woman's dog.
"Yeah. Thanks. You didn't see any..." Shaggy says as he looks around as Alexis helps him up.
"Any what?" Alexis asks.
"Never mind. Must have been a nightmare or something. Right Scoob?" Shaggy asks.
"Okay then." Alexis says as she gives a confused look.
"Want some water?" The woman asks as she hands Shaggy her water bottle.
"Thanks. What are you doing out here? And how did you meet Alexis?" Shaggy asks.
"I'm a freelance photographer. Amber and I are shooting some desert wildlife for a magazine. We ran into your friend this morning. She was pretty worried when she found you guys missing last night." The woman says.
"Cool. Hey we saw a jackalope last night." Shaggy says.
"You saw a what?" Alexis asks as she and the woman look at each other.
"You know it's like a rabbit with antlers." Shaggy says.
"Aliens too!" Scooby-Doo says.
"Guys not again." Alexis says.
"Aliens?" The woman asks.
"You understand him?" Shaggy asks.
"Clear as crystal and that's my name too. I'm Crystal. What's your name?" The woman says kindly as Alexis smiles at her.
"Norville. But everyone calls me Shaggy. And that's Scooby-Doo. and you've already met my friend's sister Alexis." Shaggy says kindly.
"Groovy names. Especially your friend here. It's definitely a different name." Crystal says kindly as she smiles at Alexis causing her to blush.
"Groovy? Crystal you're talkin' my lingo." Shaggy says kindly.
"So can you show us where you saw the jackalopes and aliens?" Crystal asks.
"Yeah. I wanna see this too." Alexis says.
"I think so but we've got to find our friends first." Shaggy says.
"You guys want a lift?" Crystal asks kindly.
"Sure." Shaggy says as the group gets into Crystal's vehicle.
