This short story contains:
-Mention of blood

Booming comes from the ceiling above me. It's the sound of galvanized steel. The sound of something in the vents. I glance upwards and find nothing, yet the sound continues. The thunder of the metal gets louder, the room begins to shake. My eyes bounce off the walls, and trepidation overcomes me as I can no longer stay calm.

BAM!

The ceiling falls to the ground with an ear-splitting thud. I squeeze my eyes shut so tightly I can hear the loud rumbling in my tensor tympani muscle. Suddenly I hear fast pacing steps circling me and I open my eyes. I instantly regret it as I see a Country Road Creature running around me. I try to sprint to the door but the creature comes at me at full speed and knocks me into the other side of the room and I smack my head against the wall in the process.
Blood trickles down my scalp and I scream in pain. Although, the flashing white creature comes to a halt, facing away from me. Their bones start to crack and the creature twitches until its head is above their shoulders. Silence hung in the air and all I could do was watch in terror. The white long-limbed monster stood still like a board. I begin to stand up, using the wall for balance. As I'm halfway up the white figure screeches slowly and shoots its head in my direction.
