As I walk down the alley I use to get home after school everyday, I hear some voices in what looked like a bed store saying things like "I'm so glad to come across an intelligent customer."

I look through a window and see the kids I knew were doing a quest. Percy, Grover and Annabeth I think their names were, I saw some strange stuff they did on the news. I saw that two kids were trapped on beds with some vines, struggling with the vines. I had to assume that they were Grover and Annabeth. Percy was talking to a guy, he looked like a raptor in a leisure suit. He was at least 7 feet tall, with absolutely no hair. He had gray, leathery skin and a cold reptilian smile, who I heard from a friend was named Crusty. I could hear some more of the conversation as I moved closer to the window with my locket clinging against me. " No waves at all" ,"Guaranteed".

I felt for my locket because I felt I should help them. They were in danger, but my body was frozen like an ice cube in the winter, and I couldn't move, fear froze me. Then Crusty moved on the bed and Percy said "Ergo" and vines started coming out of the bed.

Crusty jumped quickly out of the way and pushed Percy into the bed, trapping him. This brought me to my senses and I knew I had to do something, this wasn't right and I knew it too. I opened my locket to get my bow and arrow and it appeared in my hands. I wished luck from my father Hades as I broke the window. Percy, Grover and Annabeth stopped their struggle to look at me for a second as I shot an arrow through the air at Crusty. He swiftly moved away from my arrow as it stuck into the wall. He turned around to look at me and with a swift motion, Crusty started to attack me. I used my adrenaline to my advantage not getting hit by any of his attacks but I couldn't use my bow because his attacks were so fast I was having a hard time not getting hit. I wasn't Apollo's daughter. I'm good with a bow and arrow but not as good as them. I quickly kept dodging hits, and turned to look at the trio for a split second.

Their limbs looked like they stretched like spaghetti and their bones looked as though they were jello with their hisses of pain every minute. I could see that they probably would not last much longer in these beds of death and I couldn't dodge forever, so I had to get Crusty dusted, soon or they would look like they were taller than a building and I would be with them.I had a plan in my mind as quickly as I dodged. As I moved closer and closer to the beds I waited for the perfect moment to do it and boom I shot an arrow to distract him and it almost hit his head, he turned around to look to look for a split second and gave me an opportunity I flung him onto the bed of just as he thought he was going to win he tried to pull back but it was no use and I said "Ergo" just as Percy had and he got stuck,

he said with a scared look on his face "Let's make a deal.."

but I wasn't in the mood for listening then with a clean shot to the head from my bow and arrow, he was down. I grabbed my arrow and started to free each of them.

As I freed each of them, a gasp of relief flooded through them, each saying a small thank you to me as I helped them. Annabeth came up to me and said "What is your name?"

I say "It is Ashley."

but then she asks if I have a godly parent and asks why I help them when I could have just walked away. Percy and Grover are looking at me now too in anticipation and I say

"Yes, it is Hades and I helped because I knew about your quest and knew it was the right thing to do whether I thought it or not."

They look at me with a strange look on their faces looking as though trying to process what I just said. Then Percy spoke and said

"Do you know where this studio is, that we're trying to find, where we think your dad is ?"

I said "yes" and told them

"It's only a block away from here I believe" and then "I wish I could try and help you through my fathers domain but I can only lead you to the entrance if you would like me to and then I have to get going."

They told me to help lead them there. We were off, putting back on my locket in a swift fashion, we are on the biggest part of their journey and one I hope my father didn't commit to stealing the master bolt and I hope they make it home safe, just as I have .
