Back in the city, Loyd is rigorously training the rookies. They all are exhausted but keep going on his command. Loyd sees improvement.
LYD: Looks like you might survive against the harbinger. Be careful however, I said might.
XSH: Sir, this training is proving to be useful! Again, you're showing that you're an amazing leader!
LYD: Did I say you could chat? Thanks for the compliment though.
XSH: Sorry sir!
Xesh goes back to training with the other rookies. Loyd sits down and relaxes a bit.
LYD: Where the hell is Komi..? I'm too tired to look for her. Might aswell take a nap.
Loyd falls asleep rocking on a little chair. He wonders where Komi went. Meanwhile, in a bar on the outskirts of the city, Komi is looking for someone.
KMI: Have you seen this man?
Komi shows one of the people a picture of a man.
CV1: Yeah, he comes here often. I think he's over there playing poker.
KMI: Thank you. The drink's on me.
CV1: Thanks Ma'am!
Komi puts the picture back into her pocket and looks around the club. She spots the guy she's looking for and comes up to him.
KMI: Hey sir, mind if we have a cha-?
NOA: *chuckle* All in.
KMI: Sir, I'm talking to yo-
NOA: Full house baby! Give me my money!
KMI: Sir, I demand you to tur-!
The man takes his money, gets up and starts leaving. Komi grabs his shoulder and forcefully turns him around to talk to her.
KMI: Listen here you litt-!
NOA: You sure are strong for such a beautiful lady.
KMI: *sigh* Just listen here, Noah. I've come here on behalf of the knight of justice to inform you that you'll be recruited in the battle against the harbinger.
NOA: Do I win money?
KMI: Well no, but we stop the world from end-
NOA: Then I'm out.
Noah turns around and starts leaving. Komi follows him outside, demanding him to listen.
NOA: Look lady. I don't care if the world is ending. I don't do stuff for free, alright?
KMI: (I'm going to kill this guy.) How can you say that?! Do you not have any humanity in you?!
NOA: Well there is another way you could pay me.
KMI: Hmm? What are your demands?
Noah looks at Komis'... chest.
NOA: So? Can you meet my demands?
KMI: You disgust me.
*SLAP*
Komi delivers a killer slap on Noahs' face. Noah is rubbing his cheeks. Komi is burning from anger.
KMI: Why would Loyd even want you?! You obviously show no signs of a will to fight!
NOA: Did he even tell you about my abilities?
KMI: Well, no...
NOA: Care to see it in action?
KMI: You suggesting we fight?
NOA: Maybe.
KMI: I'm itching to show you a lesson.
Komi unholsters her gun. Noah smirks.
