I am now ten years old it's nearly been a year since the academy has been re-established.

We have only ten instructors and two-hundred students, but still I feel great pride in how we have rebuilt.

I walk in and see many of my friends waiting for the afternoon session to start. Many of them were still getting used to the new location and at how small it was.

Jerome said, " You know I could probably throw you into the wall now, cause you know it's jsut that close. Not that you are much of a challenge to toss."

At this everyone and the room laughed and looked at me wondering what I would say.

I said," You know last I checked I had more medals then you and...oh ya I've beaten you way more then you've beaten me."

At that everyone roared with laughter and Jerome just looked at me and I knew I had won.

We sat around for around another ten minutes till finally an instructor came in, and we all took our places.

He announced that there would be a tournament in two months from that day for a sponsorship.

At that the whole class started whispering around wondering who would step up to try for that.

Class went by in a flash as all I could think about was the sponsorship tournament.

Outside was a sign up sheet for those that wished to compete and the age levels. I saw there was ten other people signed up in my division.

The first match for the fight started a week from them to give people some training time. It was a brutal short fight with my fend Michael putting his opponent in a rear kneeled choke and ending it.

The next was Jerome versus my other friend Brandon. This one proved to be even worse then the last lasting the full time and having to the score boards to decide the winner.

Jerome had won by two points but both were badly banged up.

The last match of that day was me versus this one twelve year old in my division.

We shook hands and went to our sides waiting for the bell to begin the match. It felt as if time was at a stand still and that it was dead silent when in fast everyone watching was yelling and rooting each of us on.

We circled looking for a weakness to overtake. He stepped foward trying to get me to give ground but instead I rushed foward and swiped his legs out from under him.

He flipped himself around and grabbed me by my arm, and slammed me into the ground.

He put me into a reversal with my arm pend and no where to go. So I did what my friends called as pulling a "Jesse".

I kept moving my arm higher and higher till we both heard it pop he started getting nervous as I kept going and relaxed his grip some when he did that I quickly ripped Arm out and flung him off of me.

When he was trying to get up I quickly put him in a Kamora to keep him down and continued to increase the pressure till he finally gave in.

After the match I looked at the board and felt proud I now only had three more matches to go until I could be the one to compete.
