Chapter 6 - Watch and Wait

"HE'S DEAD!" A voice cried. It was Kirstie, she was bending down to Todrick shaking him. "Wake up Todrick!" Tears rolled down her eyes. Everyone woke up and gathered around Todrick.

"What could have happened to him? L-lack of food? H-Hygiene? I don't understand!" Mitch had a tear forming in his eye. By now everyone was in tears, although Todrick wasn't the greatest person, they still would miss him.

"...Wait...h-his watch is gone..." Scott scanned over his wrists. Jenna's heart was racing at this point, she quickly slid the watch in her pocket without anyone noticing.

"It can't just disappear like that!" Jenna acted.

"Whoever did this to him has the watch!" Kevin's said sharply.

"So it's one of us...?" Ryan was shaking. The group looked at each other with worried faces.

Jenna's mind: Oh shit! Oh shit! Oh shit! They're suspecting...

"Hell NO! Mama is not dying today, mama is not dying TODAY!" Mitch paced around the room back and fourth.

"Mitch calm down!" Scott walked up to him.

"CALM DOWN? You want me to calm down? I thought I auditioned for a fucking reality show to win $10,000! Then Todrick turned evil, Colleen turned into a monster trying to kill us all and as soon as we get to safety, there's a fucking murderer on the lose!" Mitch yelled. "I-I just c-can't take this a-anymore..." Mitch busted into tears and Scott wrapped his arms around him.

"Sshhh..." Scott rubbed Mitch's back. Mitch pulled away from the hug and their faces were now two inches apart. Scott was about to lean into a kiss but Mitch turned away.

"How can I even trust you...? You could be the murderer..." Mitch said in a soft voice. Mitch turned and walked away to his spot in the room. Scott was left standing completely still, his face had to emotion. A tear slowly dropped down his cheek. Everyone left their little huddle around Todrick and went to their own corners in the room. It was clear that nobody could trust anyone anymore. Jenna faced the wall with her body shielding what she was doing. She got the watch out of pocket and examined it.

Jenna's mind: How does this shit work?

It had the date and time across the top of the watch and pictures of all the housemates. Avi, Lilly and Zoe were highlighted in green and the rest were in red. On the bottom it said watch not connected to the brain.

Jenna's mind: What the fuck does that even mean?

She strapped the watch on her wrist and suddenly it said 'watch is successfully connected to the brain'.

Jenna's mind: This watch actually connects to my mind? Maybe that's how I can control people! It's worth a try...

Jenna looked across the room to Avi who was sleeping and pressed the picture of his face on the watch, then spoke in her mind.

Jenna's mind: Wake up!

Avi's eyes slowly opened.

Jenna's mind: HOLY SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! Umm...ummm walk over to me!

Avi got up rubbing his eyes and walking towards Jenna. He looked completely normal, just as if he hadn't been brainwashed. "Hey Jenna!" Avi smiled.

"H-Hi Avi!" Jenna said in excitement and slid her sleeve down to cover the watch. Avi sat down on the floor with her.

Jenna's mind: WOW! It actually worked! This is crazy! Imagine all the things I could do with him. I command you just to LOVE ME and HATE Kirstie!
