Daphne and the others had eventually arrived in Lucella.
Daphne didn't know how it took. But everyone was finally here. "Maybe we should go to the hospital first. See what everyone is up to there about the cure." Bunny suggested. "That's a good idea." Daphne replied, nodding in agreement.
"How are the kids doing?" Mimi asked, looking at Daphne. "They're doing okay. Georgie's asleep though." Zee and Zuzy were currently standing on either side of Daphne's figure, while Georgie was asleep on Daphne's back. Since he was asleep, Daphne took the responsibility of carrying him there.
"I also wonder if his family is alright... I know they're infected, and I know he would be happy to see them again..." Daphne muttered, frowning. "Well, only one way to find out, right? I really hope Poley's okay." Doggy replied, sighing softly. "I'm hoping Zizzy's okay too..." Pony stated, looking down at the ground.
The group then started walking towards the hospital. As soon as the group entered, Daphne sighed softly. "I remember this so well..." Daphne mumbled, looking around. "Yeah... me too." Bunny stated, nodding in agreement. "Wait, you've been here before?" Giraffy asked, turning to the human female.
"Well... sort of. I woke up here after passing out. This was in the middle of the infection, so I didn't even have time to process that." Daphne replied. The group looked around, hearing chatter in the halls of the hospital. Daphne's sister was right about one thing. Everyone seemed to be back to normal now.
"Maybe we should ask about the cure and its progress." Pony suggested. "How did they even find the cure that quickly though? Must've took ages to make it." Willow said, scratching her head. "I'm... not sure. I'll walk around to ask." Daphne replied, beginning to walk around.
A few seconds later, someone walked up to Daphne, making her turn around. It was a bear, wearing a white doctor coat, and a blue shirt, and matching blue pants. He wore a pair of black framed glasses as well.
Daphne had seen him before. Wasn't he the one infected and chasing her around the hospital? "Do you need something?" The bear asked her, making Daphne nod slowly. "Oh, yeah. I was wondering about the progress of the cure and how it's doing." Daphne replied, making the bear nod.
"I see. From what I've heard, the cure is working perfectly. I don't know how they did it, but everyone seems to be alright now. I'm just checking up on everyone to see if they need anything." The bear replied.
"Oh, really? Looks like everyone is alright then. Will the cure be distributed to everyone?"
"I believe it will be. Us doctors are distributing the cure as I speak. By the way, are the kids besides you alright? You all look like you've been on a long adventure yourself."
Daphne then looked at Zee and Zuzy, then at Georgie who was still asleep on Daphne's back. "They're okay. They're not infected. But they're exhausted." She replied, chuckling a little.
"I see... you all should get some rest. What's your name, by the way? I think I've seen you around before..." Daphne raised an eyebrow in confusion. Did he recognize her through the infection or something?
"Me? I'm Daphne. Daphne Quinn. I'm a police officer of the Lucella Police Force."
"Oh, now I recognize you! I think someone's looking for you." Daphne stared at the bear in confusion. Someone was looking for her. "Really? Who?" She asked."
"I think she has long brown hair, a green hat, and has golden eyes. Kind of like your eye color. I think she's wearing a blue sweatshirt, white shorts, and a pair of burgundy shoes. She also has long hair over one of her eyes. In a way, I think she looks a lot like you."
