Amidst the bustling game night, Sasuke busied himself with the cheerleading team in the university's locker room. His gaze fixated on the mirror as he delicately affixed the last few face gems along his chiseled cheekbone. While most of his colleagues had already made their way to the gym, accompanied by their partners, be they Alphas, Betas, or Omegas, Sasuke found himself running behind schedule.

Sasuke ended up being late since he had been helping some of them with their makeup and setting the last details for their performance, after all, as the head of the cheerleading team, Sasuke had a reputation to uphold. Not only was he responsible for cheerleading the team, but he was also known for having the best grades in his year and for being Naruto's boyfriend.

Naruto, the captain of the basketball team, was the epitome of a popular Alpha in the university. He possessed all the qualities that made him the most desirable mate: tall, handsome, sweet, and funny. Perfect to bring home to the parents.

Naruto's genuine and friendly personality garnered admiration from his peers and even the faculty and the raven firmly believed that not a single ounce of malice resided within Naruto's muscular body. He was the type of person who effortlessly evoked affection and proved impossible to despise. The best part of it all? Naruto's unwavering devotion belonged solely to Sasuke.

Yet, despite Naruto's love and adoration for him, the raven couldn't help but be plagued by bouts of jealousy due to the attention his boyfriend received. While Sasuke himself was equally popular, if not more with numerous Alphas in the university lusting after him, he remained uninterested in their advances.

It was Naruto who consumed his thoughts.

At times, he questioned his own worth, succumbing to intrusive thoughts that distorted his perception of reality.

One instance stood out vividly in the Uchiha's mind. During their fourth month together, Naruto's distant behavior led Sasuke to convince himself of his boyfriend's infidelity. He had followed his boyfriend one day and witnessed a seemingly intimate encounter between him and a red-haired woman, only to discover later that she was just Naruto's cousin. guilty when he discovered that she was meeting with the blond to help him prepare a special date for him and Sasuke.

Overwhelmed by guilt, Sasuke apologized profusely to Naruto and the unsuspecting girl, even insisting on compensating her for the tires that he might or might not have slashed in the heat of the moment.

Apart from this isolated incident, Naruto had never given him any reason to doubt his loyalty or integrity. However, Sasuke couldn't shake off his fears of being replaced by someone better.

With the last gem meticulously secured, he placed the tweezers on the sink and turned to examine his appearance in the mirror.

His pleated skirt was intentionally tailored to allow Naruto a teasing glimpse of his ass and of course, he had no choice but to adhere to the cheerleaders' dress code that mandated shorts underneath. Sasuke hadn't broken any rules, he had merely adjusted the shorts to reveal a bit more skin.

Aware of the potential consequences, he felt it was a small price to pay, knowing that the anticipation of what awaited him and Naruto after the game made it all worthwhile.
