"To the ten I-LANDers who've survived so far, congratulations. After the second test, this is the new ranking of the eleven participants based on the global viewers' vote," congratulated The Voice as their banners all dropped in the new order, Ta-Ki missing.
"The eleven participants should put the nameplates on your ranking's chair, and wear the badges. Now, that the rankings of the eleven participants have been decided, they will be applied to everything in I-LAND until the results of the next test.
"Due to the elimination, the two units will be rearranging the members to match the capacity for each unit. The winner of the global viewers' vote will get the authority to choose the unit member.
"I-LANDer Sunoo, out of the six members in the 'Flame On' unit, choose one person to move to the 'Chamber 5' unit."
"I'm going to pick I-LANDer Park Sunghoon," chose Sunoo, making the boy loose his mind the same way Aeri was when she found out she had been chosen by the 'Refreshing' team concept.
Getting back into the room that she was now so familiar with, she finally went to open Jay's letter at the same time as Heeseung and Sunoo who had also waited for after the results of the global viewers' vote like he wished for them to.
"To Jay, Heeseung is? A life's turning point."
"To Jay, Sunoo is? A cute little brother."
"To Jay, Aeri is? An annoying big sister. Hold on why is mine so mean?" she laughed, comparing the two other's nice words said about them with hers.
The three of them began reading the letters out loud when Jay came into their room just to make him embarrassed.
"Getting to meet someone as hardworking as you was such a blessing as well as an inspiration to me," read Aeri. "And through that, you have motivated me in my dreams, making me want to succeed even more. Seeing you so passionated in the things you do makes me wonder how someone like me could have ended up in the same competition as you.
"The help you've offered to all of us when in need often makes me look up to you. You've guided me all throughout this adventure and have always given me honest advises and feedback. And as hash as it may have been sometimes, I will forever feel thankful for that.
"The way you make fun of me sometimes makes me feel like you're the older sister I've never had. As annoying as being the target to your jokes is, I wouldn't have it any other way. I know I can't thank you enough for all the things you've done for me, but I hope you know how grateful I am that I have met you."
Practicing with Sunghoon felt great to Aeri since he was experiencing the same struggles as her. The two of them seemed to have the hardest time with the facial expressions but after a lot of practice from their part, both seemed to have relaxed considerably and felt more comfortable with it.
"How did Sunghoon end up here?" asked Sung Deuk when the day of their midpoint evaluation came.
"Because I picked him affter Ta-Ki's elimination," explained Sunoo. "I thought it'd be good for him to show a different side of him."
"How do you feel Sunghoon?"
"When I heard my name being called, I was a bit shocked," he admitted. "Especially because I was the leader of the 'Flame On' unit."
"How about you Aeri? I know you struggled a bit with the concept too."
"Ah, yes. I've never really felt comfortable doing more refreshing concepts and only did very few the firsts months of me being a trainee. So it did make me feel a little bit scared at first but I feel much better about it now."
