Beyond the forbidden woods

Chapter 2

Avery's pov:
I remember everything that happened earlier as I open my eye I see that I'm still in the car Eddie still driving I glance up "hey Eddie how much farther do we have to go" I said smiling at him through the rear view mirror "about another 30 minutes" he says returning the smile "are you dropping me off and leaving" I said sadly he looked at me through the rear view mirror "yeah I have to head back there are a few more kids I have to pick up but I hope to see you again" he said with a sad smile " yeah I hope to see you again soon too" I said when we finally got there I got out of the car and realized that I don't have anything with me only a picture of my parents and my phone witch has been dead for hours. "Bye" Eddie said "bye" I said looking really sad just then a lady came out of the orphanage and walked up to me she had dark black hair and bright green eyes she looked around 50 "come with me I will show you around" she said " okay if you don't mind me asking whats your name" I said " rosemary but people call me rose what about you" rose said "Avery dodge" I said back " you have a very pretty name" rose said smiling "thanks" I said returning the smile " so you will be staying here until a family wants you" rose said kinda mean "okay" I said rose took me on a tour of the whole orphanage when we where done she turned and looked at me "dorm rooms are that way I need you to go get some sleep you have to be up early tomorrow" rose said "okay" I said not asking any questions because I didn't know if she was going to yell at me because she seemed pretty mad. When I got to the dorm rooms I realized that there were only two other girls in there one had dark brown hair with drown eyes and the other had blond hair with blue eyes " hi" I said when I walked over to them and sat on an empty bed " hi" they both said and looked at me " are there not many people who live here" I said curious " no most have been adopted already" one of them said " what are your names" I said " I'm lily" the girl with blonde hair said " and I'm Jayden" the girl with the brown hair said " I'm Avery" I said back both of them are smiling at me and I smile back " will we better get to sleep before rose yells at us to go to bed" Lily said " yeah good idea" Jayden says "goodnight both of you" I said and smiled they smiled back and Kaye's down on there bed and went to sleep I stayed up a little longer but when I felt my eyes start to get heavy I turned over and fell asleep almost instantly.
