You sit on your bed, stressed over what has just happened. It's been an hour since you made your order. Angel has not only evaded your guards, but has also slayed five of them. Innocent blood has been spilled over your foolish mistake. However, this is not the first time, remember your army? Well they all died because of you, you and your foolishness. How do you expect to beat the Writer when you keep making foolish mistakes like the fool you are?

I may have made my mistakes but at least I haven't made the mistake of creating such a terrible world! I can still beat you, and you're just scared.

Me, scared? Ha, you make me laugh. You do realize that at any moment I could make it rain fire, destroying everything you know. How can you beat an all powerful entity that has control of everything you have? I will always be in control. Even as I write this down, I am sitting in my throne on high, looking down upon your pathetic life.

I will stop you, I will defeat you, I will be the victor. I will not let you continue to reign in this tyranny. I will make a better world, with order, control, and logic.

How do you expect to do that from your little castle? Especially when you have company. Just then you feel a knife at your throat. Soft breathing blows past your ear.

"Who goes there? If this is Angel, I think I was under a spell. I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Really?" Angel says, a tone of annoyance in her voice. "And why should I believe you?"

"You have no reason to believe me, I have not proven worthy of your trust. All I can say is that, I love you. If that isn't worthy of your trust, then do with me as you will."

"Very well. I will do exactly what I want with you." She gestures to the door, pressing the knife closer to your neck.

I cautiously stand, now realizing the folly in my words.

She leads you out of your room, past the table you had just been eating at a mere hour before, down the stairs, through the hallway and out the main door.

I follow her willingly, so as not to annoy her even more.

You walk past a group of guards who jump to their feet at the sight of Angel.

I say to them, "Let her take me, and do not worry. I shall return soon."

She takes you out of the castle and down the road to town. Keeping the knife pressed against you, so that every slight movement can be felt on your neck. Your sweat drips down onto the blade, or is that blood beginning to fall? The full moon is now high into the sky. It is the only one that knows what is going on, for the streets are bare. She walks past shops and blacksmiths, past trees and houses, all the way to a small inn, the one she told you of before. She brings you inside to her room, and ties you to a chair. After securing your position, so that you can not budge, she leaves the room. You are now alone, tied to an old chair in the middle of the night. Who's winning now?

I look around my new prison.

It's a simple room with a bed, a nightstand, and the chair you currently sit in. A window to the outside is across the room, only big enough to let in a little moon light. A candle is on the nightstand, burning with a small flame.

I remain in my spot, until something happens.

You remain there for a whole hour, or what feels like an hour. An hour of total silence, of solitude and brokenness. After this hour, a maid walks in and sees you sitting there.

"Help me please! Can you please untie me and tell me who lives here?"

"I'm sorry," she responds "I have orders to not untie anyone from this room, and I don't have a list of who's staying here." She sweeps a little bit and then wipes down the night stand. She then leaves you to be alone again, alone with your failures.
