"HE WHAT?!" bonnie yelled, her head throbbing from hangover.

linka came over to bonnie's house as soon as she heard the news.

they were laying at bonnie's bed when linka asked what happened last night. then linka told her that luke picked her up from the bar. bonnie was shocked and humiliated and felt bad at the same time. she was humiliated that luke saw her in her drunken state. she also felt bad that she texted luke thinking it was linka and asked him to pick her up with no shame even after she avoided luke for days! she felt sick to her stomach, probably because of luke or the hangover from last night. probably both.

"i can't believe i don't remember that!" she frustratedly run her hands through her hair. her head laying in linka's lap.

"and i just knew! lane just told me this morning and i can't believe i slept through it!" she spoke while she remove bonnie's makeup from her face. bonnie focused in thought trying to remember what happened last night and the memories go back to her.

"i would never lie to you luke, i love you."

"HOLY CRAP!" bonnie yelled, snapped back and sat up from linka's lap, startling her.

"WHAT?? WHAT IS IT?!" linka smacked bonnie's arm repeatedly.

"I JUST REMEMBERED," her face red, embarrassed at the memory from last night.

"what did you do??" bonnie whined in respond and threw her head back at linka's lap.

"i confessed to luke!" she broke down, her eyes swam with tears.

"i'm so stupid! out of all people, luke had to be there??? what would he think of me now?? why was i even drinking last night?? ironic he was the reason why." she laughed bitterly. linka patted her head in comfort.

"why do you do this to yourself?"

she wiped her tears "do what?"

"why you never told luke about how you felt about him and instead, just letting him go and date other people? why do you do that?"

bonnie had a reason for it, of course she did. she had always had a crush on luke but she had also known he was different. he's popular, he's talented, he's attractive. luke was always sought by girls for as long as she remembered, girls who she just can't compete. so instead she bottled up her feelings in hopes of staying by his side, even if it was just as friends.

before bonnie could answer her, linka's phone vibrated.

linka let out a sigh, "i gotta get going, my uncle is calling me for lunch."

"alright, thanks again for coming." she hugged her tightly, linka leaving soft pats in her back.

"call me when you need me, okay?" she smiled and left.
