3- Maki Zenin

Kuina, Yuta, Maki and the two children finally arrive at the hospital as Maki and the children are taken in straight away whilst Kuina waits with an exhausts Yuta outside of Maki's room. After completing Panda and Toge's mission, Satoru comes to the hospital and joins them.

"They said both Maki and the kids will be fine" Kuina says as Yuta puts his head on her shoulder.

"Thank goodness!" Yuta says as he closes his eyes.

"You don't look very satisfied" Satoru says as he crouches down near the bench the two of them are sitting on.

"I managed to call Rika-chan out by myself for the first" Yuta says as he holds his hand up and he looks at the ring Rika gave him on his finger.

"Really? That's a step forward" Satoru says with a slightly happy tone.

"You should've seen her Satoru, she's so powerful even I was scared" Kuina says as Satoru covers her mouth.

A small boy walks past the three of them as Yuta watches him and he reminisces on the first time he and Rika met at the hospital. He then remembers when they'd play in the park and he's spin them around on the merry go round too fast.

"What's wrong?" Satoru asks as he uncovers Kuina's mouth after she bites his hand.

"Nothing" Yuta says as he snaps out of it, "just remembering something. I don't think Rika-chan cursed me. I think I might've cursed Rika-chan".

"This is my personal theory, but there's no curse more twisted than love" Satoru says as he looks down at Kuina who faces the wall in front of her.

"I told you to stop following me!" Kuina shouts as tears spill from her eyes, "I'm not going back Satoru! You see how they treat me, they think they can just walk all over me and treat me like I'm some weakling, I'm not!".

"I know Kuina!" Satoru says as he looks at her, "I know that better than anyone!".

"You'll see Satoru, trust me. One day, I'm gonna be the head of the Gojo clan, I'll even defeat you if I have to" Kuina says as she furrows her brows, "I hate everything. I hate Mum, I hate Dad, I hate the clan, I hate you! I'm living on my own!".

"Hate is an extremely strong word, Kuina" Satoru says as he looks down, "I for one, love you".

"Well you can love me however much you want, I'll still hate you!" Kuina shouts as she falls to the ground, "why did you have to be born strong? Why did you have to take both techniques? Why are you so selfish? You're so stupid and you're an idiot and you're just idle. You never do anything right, you're good for nothing. I'm leaving because of you and because I hate you! I never want to see you again!".

"If that's what your true feelings are then fine" Satoru says as he takes off his sunglasses, "but like it or not, I'm your older brother and I'm not letting you go on your own. You are nine years old, where are you going to get the money to live on your own? Never mind that, who'd let a nine year old buy a house on their own?! You're living with me and that's final. If you're running away, I'm running away too. No matter how badly you push me away, I will not leave you, because I love you!".

"Well I hate you Satoru Gojo!" Kuina screams as she hits Satoru with a bunch of cursed energy before running off.

That's right, love is the most twisted curse of all. Why do I have to love my sister who curses me out all of the time? Why do I have to love my sister who insults me, calls me a mistake? Why do I have to love her? I know she loves me too, she doesn't want to admit it, because that would mean letting her emotions show and she's too scared to do that, not after what happened last time.
