Nora's P.O.V.

"NORA, WAKE UP! IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL!" My lovely brother yelled. Noticed the sarcasm? Nah, I'm just kidding, I love my brother and I couldn't be more happy to have a brother like him. He's there for you when you need a shoulder to cry on, gives great advise and he's funny. I just hate to wake up this early. I groan and didn't answer my brother. Today is the day that I start my senior year. I'm excited to see my best friend again, which is also my only friend. Every school has their 'groupies', well I call them groupies. Groupies are people who hang out with each other because of their hobbies that they share or some shit. You have the nerds, the druggies, the gays, the populars and then there's me: Nora Jones aka the nobody. I've been bullied by the populars ever since kindergarten and I just don't know what I've ever done to them, but I'll survive... I guess. I never talk to them like literally I don't let them even hear one sound from me. They're just not worth it.

"NORA! WAKE THE FUCK UP BEFORE I DRAG YOU OUT OF BED!" my brother yelled again.

"I'M UP!" I yelled back. I pushed the covers off of me and got up. I turned on the shower and stripped down my clothes. I washed my hair with the coconut and vanilla shampoo, washed my body with the vanilla scented shower gel and shaved the body parts where I had to shave. I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body and dried my long blonde hair which is alway a fight between me and my hair because of the length. I walked to the mirror to brush my teeth and put on my make up. I don't really like make up, but a little bit of mascara won't ruin the cake. Today is the first day of my last year at Norwest, so I decided to make an exception and put on some nude color lipstick. I go back to my room and mentally thank my parents for having a room with my own bathroom. I opened my closet and got out a black skinny jeans which is ripped at the knees, a plain white t-shirt, a leather jacket and putted them on. I couldn't decide to wear my black vans or my white converse. "Ugh, I don't know." I groaned and l down on my bed. "The vans!" I hear my dad yell from the main bathroom. I smiled to myself and put my vans on. I hung my black school bag over my shoulders, took a look in the full sized mirror and took a deep breath. I'll just my hair natural today, which is wavy. I made up my bed, grabbed my phone from the bedside table, opened the window and ran downstairs to grab an apple, gave my mum a quick kiss on the cheek and yelled a quick bye to my dad. Normally it's the other way around. I would be the one sitting downstairs having breakfast and Tristan in the bathroom and mom and dad rushing through the house for their work. My mom and dad work at some business company and they go on business trips a lot, but today they have a day off I see.

Just when I was about to run out of the door, my mother called me back. I roll my eyes and I knew exactly what she was about to say. She had her arms crossed against her chest and had a smirk on her face.

"We made a deal last night, remember? I drive you to school and we have pizza for dinner tonight." She snatched the car keys from the hook on the wall and ran to the car before I could roll my eyes at her again.

"I was actually planning on walking to school, you know." I said with annoyance in my voice and got in the black Range Rover.

"Well, call me a life saver then." She laughed. I couldn't help it but laugh with her. The more we drove, the more I got nervous. This is probably going to be one hell of year if I'll have classes with Courtney. Tyler and the others aren't that bad, I mean, yes, they bully me but not as bad as Courtney does and it's probably getting worse without Tristan in the school who would beat the shit out of the boys and embarrassing Courtney in front all of her 'friends'. I felt a hand on my knee and saw my mom looking at me. We're in front of the building that I like to call prison.

"You're going to be fine honey, just keep your head up and smile that gorgeous smile of yours." My mom whispered. My mom knew about the bullying, but never knew how bad it was and I want to keep it that way. I don't want her to worry about me. I'm fine.

"I know mom, thank you." I give her a small smile and a hug.

"Do I have to pick you up after school?"

"No, it's fine, I'll just walk with Sam, we have a lot catching up to do." I smile at her.

"Alright then, I'll see you later, babe." She gives me a big smile and I got out of the car. My mom was gone and I had the tendency to call my her and tell her to come back and take me home. I just stood there staring at the building, not moving a muscle. I'm not ready for this. Just when I was about to move forward I heard a familiar voice calling my name. I turned around and before I knew I was knocked down on the floor hugged by the one and only Sam Parks, aka my only friend. We just laid there on the ground hugging each other and I noticed people looking weird at us and whispering. "Sam, as much as I want to lay down here hugging you, there are people looking at us." I whisper to him. "I don't care! I missed you." He replied, but stood up anyway. He offered me his hand to help me up which I didn't took, because of his childish behavior of pulling it back before I stood up. "SAM!" I hear someone yell from the other side of the school ground. It was his other friends aka the gays. Yupp, you heard it right. The gays. Which means that Sam is also gay. I don't mind though, I love him like the way he is. He looked at me with a sad smile.

"I'm sorr-"

"No, it's fine. I totally understand!" I cut him off.

" Are you su-"

"Yes." I cut him off again.

"I mean I could just tell the-"

"Sam!" I said louder and laughed.

"I'll be fine. You can go to your friends, I really don't mind." He smiled and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. I blush and smile at him. "I'll see you at lunch." He says and jogged to his friends. I walked to the reception and ask for my timetable and the code for my locker. The good thing about the school is that they put your new books in your locker, so you don't have to carry them all the way from the gym to your locker.

I thanked the lady and walked to my locker. "Locker 570." I mumble to myself and mentally curse for not having the same locker as last year. I walked a little further when I saw a locker with the number 497. I'm almost there and then I can go to my homeroom early to avoid the risk of bumping into Courtney or her gang. I could see my locker which caused a smile on my face.

"Well..well..well.., who do we have here."

Fuck my life.
