How this all started..

5 () Tails
10 () Sonic

This is a different universe from my last story (they all have there own universe), so don't ask why the ages changed-

⥢Sonic and Tails have been living together for almost a year now! They've become closer then over in that short amount of time.

Sonic adored the little Fox. He lost his patience a few times, but was able to control it after a while. Tails was so incredibly smart, and he was growing up so fast. He sometimes wished he had more to offer Tails then just a roof and food.

Tails loved Sonic to bits. He (other then Knuckles and Amy,) was the only one who cared about him! He would often watch him train for Egg man battles, and watch the actual fights on the TV.

Tails admired him for those good deeds, and of course, wanted to be him when he was older.

It was a few nights before Halloween, and it would be Tails' first time going Trick or Treating.

Sonic thought this would be a good opportunity to go out and communicate with other people, instead of staying inside in fear of the thought people might hurt him. But if anybody tried, then he would make sure they never see the day of light again.

"Alright, Tails!" Sonic said, in a cheerful but whisper-like voice. "It's time to sleep, tomorrow we'll get your costume, alright?"

Sonic pulled the blankets down so Tails could hop in bed.

"But, Sonic!" Tails whined, "I'm not tired, I promise!" He finished, puppy eyeing Sonic.

Sonic shielded his eyes dramatically to play around with the Kit, "No.. I must- not- LOOK-!" He said, making dramatic weak dieing sound affects.

Tails just waited for a few more seconds, before Sonic gave in and looked.

"So.. Adorable.." He managed to say, in between holding his breath so over dramatically, before picking up the fox and setting him in his bed again, and going back to his normal face.

"Just kidding," he added, in a calm, joking voice. "Time for sleep, you dont want to be like a zombie when you wake up, right?" Sonic finished, before imitating a extremely tired person, seemingly like a zombie.

"No, I guess not.." Tails mumbled, seemingly very annoyed, but also very playful.

"Good, now get some sleep". Sonic added, in a soothing voice, as he tucked the Fox in.

"Night, bud."

"Night, Sonic!" ⥤

It was around the middle of the night, and Tails woke up to the feeling of a presence in the room, along with a slight chill.

He sat up, very quickly, and looked around the room for a second. There didn't seem to be anything? But then, he noticed a window that wasn't quite opened before.

He froze.

Little did he know, that something was lurking underneath his bed.

He thought of getting up to shut the window, but something told him to go for Sonics room instead, for safety.

He waited a few seconds before making a run for it, only to feel a sharp pain in his leg, before completely not being able to feel it at all.

Tails fell and hit his head, letting out a scream, definitely able to be heard around the house.

Blood started dripping from his forehead, probably due to the impact. He curled up into a ball, before he was picked up by his legs and tossed onto someone's shoulder. He couldn't exactly make out who it was, but he didn't expect it was a good thing.

As Sonic was cozily sleeping, he heard a loud scream loud enough to be heard in his room, and immediately recognized who's it was.

He sprinted towards the Fox's room, with a worried expression on his face.

As he made it into the room, all he could see was a tall person at the window, with a now asleep Tails on his shoulder, about to bolt.

Sonic is angered by this, and is about to spin dash the stranger, but before he can, he feels a pain in his neck, and then starts to feel extremely tired and falls down to the ground.

The last thing he sees, is the stranger leaving out the window, with Tails still on his shoulder, leaving Sonic there, on the ground.

His last thought tho, made his heart break.

"I just let them take my little brother."

OKAY- so I realize this is extremely short lol, BUT I will continue it, I promise-
It'll probably be in 2-3 days, or so?
