Chapter 3: my mate?

AN
I'm sorry I didn't update in forever I was sick then I was camping and I lost track of time. But here you go!

-Sam pov

I took a step forward drawn to him by his scent.

"Mate" my wolf called "mine"

We were inches apart when I suddenly came back to my senses.

"No you can't be my mate, your my uncle, my flesh and blood, the moon goddess wouldn't be so cruel.

I quickly turned to look at my father and he had a pained expression in his face, Chris looked sad and Tyler Chris's beta looked angry.

" Dad what's happening why is my uncle my mate?" I turned to him in hysteria.

" Baby girl, he's not really your uncle, you were my betas daughter, when she died me and your mother adopted you ."

"What no, your my dad, Daddy?"

"Chris?" I croaked through the sobs that started. He looked away ashamed.

Leila Chris's mate walked in "Leila there joking right? This is some cruel prank?" Leila looked down at the ground quickly then back at me. With a note of nervousness in her voice like she was hoping that she didn't know what was happening.

"What's a joke Sam?"

" That I'm not alphas daughter, Chris isn't my brother and my uncle isn't my mate?"

"Oh, I was afraid that's what you were asking about." Leila said with a grimace.
"You knew, you all knew and nobody told me?"

I collapsed on the floor sobbing. Dad and Chris both came over but I let out a fierce growl and they backed off.

Tyler crouched down and gathered me in his arms " I didn't know baby, I didn't know." I clutched to him like my life depended on it.

I was ripped out of his arms into another set. I suddenly felt calm and at peace. deacon growled mine then went to set me on the bed where he deposited me. He gave a look to Tyler and he scrambled out the door.

Chris and my da-... My alpha walked out too followed by Deacon.

My heart crumbled even more when I realized my mate didn't want me or care about my feelings.

I curled up on the bed and cried. A few moments later i felt the bed stir and a cool blanket cover me up.

"It's okay Sam I'm here. your sister is here." Leila whispered. Then she curled up around me and I fell asleep.
