Chapter 1 Titan visit

I doodled in my sketchbook per usual when father doesn't need me to grab anything from the main isles I'm actually kinda glad we left but sad considering I had to go missing and my friends had to be left but sacrifices must be made "Cresent come down here we need you." My dad called from the kitchen and I got up putting my sketchbook away and slipping on some running shoes and ran downstairs in a matter of seconds "What do you need pa?" I asked almost tripping on the last step but caught myself "You have to go to the main isles for a 2 year mission I'm sorry.." dad said and hugged me "When do I go?" I asked hugging him back "Tonight.." my dad muttered and I stopped hugging him as he pulled away "You'll be a trade student in hexside and be kept at either the emperor's coven or the owl lady's house." He said and handed me some hair dye "Get rid of your silver hair it's abnormal there or keep it I don't remember if it was normal.." my dad said trailing off into thought as I slipped back upstairs throwing my outfit on and putting my mask on it wasn't like I'd be going away for 3 years it was only 2 years calm down..

I arrived at the main isles weller known as the boiling isles but all the isles are protected by boiling water so we decide to call our isles what titans and guards live there meaning we're the moon capture isles since we capture a lot of criminals and people who aren't supposed to be there the moon part comes from me and our titan since ours helped give us a different type of magic;hypnotic and shift but shift changes temperature and time temporarily  and hypnotic pretty much is when you manipulate someone's mind and stuff but it takes a lot of focus and is one of the hardest things to do even for 10 minutes it also can make hair turn silvery ask me how I know since I have a full head of silver hair! "Follow me." A person in a bird like mask said they had the emperor's coven scout uniform on how do I know? I was given a book on appearances that I read on the ride here. "This is hexside? Looks bigger than my school.." I said as I looked at it in amazement a girl with a plant track was eating something that looked like a mix of a griffin egg and a blue fruit alone so I approached her she backed up as of seeing me "Hey I mean no intent to harm you." I said in a calm tone I knew how to gain trust cause of the lessons of getting a willing subject "Can you atleast take your mask off so I can see your face?" The girl asked and I didn't want to take off my mask "I only do that in private but nobody is out here so I guess I can." I said sighing and took my mask off and she looked at my face before patting a spot on the steps next to her and I sat down next to her "What's your name?" She asked and I didn't feel all that comfortable giving out my name to someone I might not even know that well "I'm not comfortable giving that out but I guess you can call me 'The moon guardian' or something like that." I said and she looked confused "The moon guardian..? Do you even living on the boiling isles?" She asked and I shook my head "We call this the main isles but we all get at minimum two types of magic that are only through birth.." I said and she nodded as the bell rang or screamed? I can't tell "Oh we're free now by the way where are you staying?" She asked and I looked at my pentstagram messages "Apparently someone by the name 'The owl lady aka Edalyn clawthorn ask the human' humans are on the main isles too? Wow you're not that stupid even if you did banish giraffes." I said chuckling and the girl took my arm without warning me and I fell face first into some soil "Ow.. you couldn't of warned me?" I asked and shook my face getting the soil off and put my mask back on "Sorry moon.." she said and I just patted her shoulder "Next time warn me before you start dragging me." I said and got up and followed her we arrived at a fairly isolated house it looked cool it even had a house demon apparently! They are so rare on our isles.. "Hooty hoot hoot! Ooh you brought a new frieeenndd hoot hoot!" The owl tube house demon said wrapping himself around me for a moment but then uncoiling he looked at me as if he just noticed he didn't know my name "What your name? If you don't mind me asking hoot."  He said and I shrugged slightly "Uh call me moon I guess..it's apart of my title.." I said murmuring the last part of it "Willow and random person why are you here?" A voice asked and I immediately turned around to see it was a human and I offered my hand in a hand shake "Hello there!" I said and she shook my hand "Well moon apparently transferred from a totally different isles with two different type of magic they're born with!" The girl who I assume is Willow said "That cool Willow but why are they at the owl house?" I asked and I summoned my pentsagram and showed her the message "You're in the right place then Willow wanna join?" The human asked and Willow shook her head "I gotta go eat then I have to do some research for my project." She said and the human nodded I looked at the humans outfit closely "You get to study multiple tracks? That sounds cool!" I said and they both looked at me as if it was abnormal "Our parents choose our tracks on my isles im just really excited sorry.." I said and Willow summoned a palisman and flew away the human opened the door and I saw a dog..demon thing? As I walked in the human shut the door "Welcome to your new trade school home for how long?" She said and I checked "Two years apparently." I said and she looked shocked. "Hey luz-.." a woman came in but stopped mid sentence "Yes Eda?" The human asked I looked at the person named eda "Who's that a transfer student?" She asked snorting as if transfer students didn't exist "Says the one who doesn't know hypnotic and shift!" I argued and she craned her neck to me "What?" She asked and the human looked at me too "Hypnotic is where you can hypnotize someone pretty much shift well it's harder to explain it better to demonstrate it.." I said as I grabbed a canister of the water from my cloak and made the temperature fall drastically and drank it "How did you manage to drink that without getting burned?!" The lady asked almost yelling "Calm down it's my spell shift!" I said as she took the canister from me "The canister was insulated to keep it hot my titan.." she said and I took the canister back and put it in my cloak where it crushed up immediately. "Transfer students exist;moon capture isles student is who you just got stuck with." I said and walked out of the house and the human followed me unsurprisingly I went to the edge of the beach that separates the sea from the main isles and picked up a tree branch that had been left here "What are you doing?" The human asked "Simple a temperature glyph so you can swim in the sea for about 3-5 hours I replied as I began making the square "Glyphs normally would use a cricle but squares if done right make the spell stronger." I explained since the human was about to correct me "Say what's your name human?" I asked as I finished up the glyph "I'm not telling you if you don't tell me yours!"the human said puffing her cheeks out as if to add a dramatic effect "Well then so be I guess I'm crescent wanted in many other isles my father managed to get me off wanted posters here atleast." I said and tapped the glyph as it made a small little light "The boiling sea down to 50 degrees." I said and the light vanished "I brought swim suits with me if you need one human." I said bringing her from her thoughts "Oh thank you crescent and call me Luz." She said laughing slightly and I handed her a purple bathing suit and turned a rock to make a wall between us  as I changed into a black with stars bathing suit. "Hey luz you done?" I asked "Yep!" She responded and I moved the rock and jumped into the sea "Can you tell me about the moon isles?" Luz asked me as we swam and I thought for a moment what I hadn't told anyone yet "Well humans are common there, we all have titans and ours represents the sun and gave us abilities that are from birth, I'm trying to think of something else.. oh yeah we also have human food so we can eat both human food and any other types as long as they don't contain sleeping medication.." I said and luz looked confused from the last part "Why sleeping medication in specific?" She asked and i slapped my hand to my face "We get.. high and active to the point we have to be sedated or put under a injection to calm us down." I said and she tackled me under the water in an attempt to splash me I bet but I got stuck on one of the boiling sea's seaweed as it tangled around my foot and tightened so I couldn't reach the surface but i just cut the seaweed off my foot but it tangled on my other foot even harder with more strands as it released me a bottle floated up with the moon themed ribbon on it "The titan needs something already? But I stole 8 griffin eggs just yesterday for him what more could he need this instant?" I asked to nobody but luz heard me "You where the one who-.." I covered her mouth with my hand fast "Sssh! I don't want to be on wanted posters again!" I whisper yelled at her and she a O with her mouth once I uncovered it and I opened the bottle and looked at the paper in it "Good luck moon guardian get yourself a palisman oh and make friends you're lonely! -Ps your dad helped me write this,from moon.. The titan wants me to get a palisman I'll do it sooner or later.."  I said and luz looked at me "Who's moon and why did your dad help them write that note?" She asked "Moon is the Moon titan she always signs any letters addressed to me by moon since I'm the only one who is allowed to call her that." I said and smiled "I hope she manages to get her supplies in the next 2 years if not I'll be wanted..again.." I said sighed but shook my head "We still have over 3 hours left of swimming water let's keep swimming." I said trying to lighten the mood.

Moon titan pov:

Crescent's dad had recently helped me make a message since I can't psychically write with pens and pencils normally if I wanted to send something to a different isles crescent would write it down and put it in the bottle and I would throw it but she's gonna be gone for 2 years I hope the moon isles can hold up with resources and such even without her staff she knows how to send food to us just not resources.. "Moon titan! Moon titan you have a message from emperor belos!" One of the guards said and it alerted me immediately he doesn't send just anyone a message especially since nobody knows these isles exist we use magic to block them from the collector's magic "Read it now." I said somewhat panicked and the guard seemed to be opening it since it was sealed with one of those coven sigil things..we don't use those exact sigils here something that shows what your major in only here.. "Hello,if this message reaches to anybody please come to the boiling isles we would love to unite and have you all participate in the day of unity where we will rid the world of wild magic giving us all Paradise!  Signed emperor belos" my guard said "Throw it into the boiling sea nobody is going to get a sigil from him let alone to rid our world of wild magic!" I said and the guard walked out and I rubbed my temples as i got up and started walking across the boiling sea "I need to warn crescent.." I muttered and eventually got to a place with less boiling water bingo "Guardian im here to speak to you." I said plainly and I felt someone scale up my scales (I imagine a titan having scales somewhat like a reptile) "Who's there?" I asked "Just me and my friend Luz but luz is on the ground and we're really high up."crescent said "Whatever you do..DO NOT GET A SIGIL" I said and crescent seemed speechless "Oh and try to keep the other isles a secret too I wouldn't want stari getting mad since his sister's  guard gave away that other isles exist." I said "Oh and try to hide your abilities if you don't want weird looks in your transfer school." I added and sat down making a rather large wave behind me "They'll be okay." I said and let crescent down letting one of the children who had been sleeping in my hair down "A legend is circling around that the main isles titan had a son he taught us how to hide our isles he also gave his kid a collar to put on with his protector." I said laughing slightly as the small Titan children ran into who I presume to be luz "So luz how is like being a witch?" I asked and she went silent not that she wasn't but I'd expect an answer from someone who just met a titan who species is presumably 'extinct' "I'm not a witch I'm a human.." the luz girl said "Let me show you something not even crescent knows." I said with a wink and started drawing a glyph with my finger I made a spiral for the middle and the outside had swiggly lines as if radiation "it's a teleport to our isles your isles has bubbles in place of swiggly lines and a line like this." I said making a line in the sand nowhere near the glyph I had made "I have to go now nice meeting you luz and good luck crescent getting used to no staff to fly on." I said half jokingly but hit the glyph going back to the isles immediately 

Eda pov:

I watched as the kids came in nothing wrong with their clothes but they where carrying wet clothes like they had took a dip in the boiling sea but it wasn't possible it is boiling that's it's name.. "Hey eda we went swimming since-.." luz got cutoff by the transfer student almost falling to the floor trying to climb the stairs "Uh kid you need help?" I asked walking over to the kid who just gave up "Y.E.S" the kid said and I got them upright "Like this." I said and held onto the banister going up the stairs "Oh now I see what i did wrong.." the kid said going upstairs "I wasn't expecting that.." me and luz said at the same time but a small dog like demon walked in they looked almost like king for one exception white fur with a black crescent in the chest area that followed the kid "Luz please continue." I said and she smiled and started again "You know that shift power moon has she made the boiling water swimmable for 4 hours and we swam we even saw a moon isles titan and apparently she's the moon guardian!" Luz said happy "Well get some sleep you both have school tomorrow and expect you to help her out especially with stairs that kid needs help like badly.." I said and luz kept smiling and gave me her weird human hug thing "Can king meet that baby titan that walked in?" Luz asked and my jaw almost dropped "That was a titan baby? It looks just like king apart from colors!" I said and luz shrugged taking king who was napping beside me upstairs.
