(Leo's POV)

It was dark, but I knew there was light all around me. I was confused and dare I say scared, but then I heard a soft voice whisper something to me. I couldn't tell who it was. They said they were sorry, among other things. I tried to open my eyes and immediately closed them. 'Why is the light so bright! Oil lamps don't give off that sort of light. Am I outside?' I thought, truly confused. "It's ok. The lights aren't what you're used to." Said the voice quietly, it sounded female, and she knew me?

Was it Zira, maybe Connie. I tried to open my eyes again. It was better but still two bright. I tried to sit up. As I did this, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head, "Hey! No, no, you have to stay down, Leo! You're hurt." I felt a hand on my arm try to push me back down, and I froze. My eyes had adjusted to the light, and in the corner of my vision, I saw silver-white hair. "Y-you..." I couldn't speak. All I could do was pull my arm back and try to back up.

Amber moon, my brothers wife. Her green eyes stared into mine, but I couldn't see hatred. I only saw sympathy. The one I tried to kill multiple times looked at me with sympathy! She hates me, right?...I mean, who wouldn't. "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. I think they did that enough." She said the last part under her breath. I looked down and saw what she was talking about. I had bandages all over, and they were stained with blood. I reached up to feel my head and felt the same thing. Bandages that covered one side of my face.

"You're hurt, Leo. Why would I try to hurt you more?" She said in a soft voice. "I-I tried to kill you. Why wouldn't you hurt me!" I screamed, but in reality, my voice barely broke from a whisper. She shook her head and looked into my eye. "You were my friend." Then she said something that I had never heard her say since we were kids. "Your name is Sato. That was the name of Ivy's most trusted friend. It means brave and strong." I looked in her eyes and got closer to her. She crawled over to the corner, and for the first time, I realized that the roof was lower over here.

She gestured for me to come closer, and I did. In the corner was a small sleeping area. There were a few pillows, a weird small circle bed, and two blankets. Close by was a small closet the must have held some clothes. Amber shifted to her wolf form. In fact, I had never seen her in this form this close before. She had silver-white fur and large green eyes. She had scars, some of which we're undoubtedly caused by me. She grabbed something from behind her and gave it to me. It was something from the palace! A picture of Hunter... Tears formed in my eyes, and I swiped them away.

'They came in and tossed that in. Said it was in your room in the palace.' She growled. (Yes, I can understand werewolves in their wolf form. You learn to be able to translate it when you spend years with them.)

'I have to tell her. She at least needs to know.' I thought, leaning back onto one of the pillows. "Before the war, I fell in love with a werewolf. I loved her but... she was framed for some things she didn't do." Amber sat there looking at me and listening."Your mother had her executed, believing the lie she was told. Before that, however, we had a kid. We named him Hunter, I was so upset, and I wanted to get revenge, but your mother passed away due to the sickness back then." She nodded, agreeing with me.

Amber knew her mother wasn't the best. Actually, her mother was the worst. Amber would always complain when coming over about how her mother was being rude or unfair. "Whatever she passed away, all I could think about still was Revenge, so I thought you should pay for what she did, and I was completely wrong. I'm truly sorry for what I did. I'm truly sorry for all the pain I caused you and your friends and family." She looked me in the eyes and shook her head, "I'M sorry Sato. You never deserved to have my mother tear your love away from you." She growled softly.

She shifted back and moved to the small closet and pulled out a white long sleeve shirt and black coat. "Put these on. You need some rest, and then I'll explain how much time has passed and everything Sato." Amber handed me the clothes and went to the sleeping corner. I didn't want to, but then I thought about how tired I was and crawled over to the corner, too. I put the clothes on and curled up on the weird bed. I could feel the tiredness setting in. The last thought I had was about Asher. Was he ok?

(Asher's POV)

I heard whispering next to me. I couldn't tell who, but I knew them. I tried to open my eyes but couldn't, it was two bright. I head the voice say something and walk away. I opened my eyes and let them a just to the light, I was staring at the roof when a door opened. I closed my eyes and pretended to still be asleep. "Hey....You still asleep?" Said a voice coming closer to me. They didn't know I was awake then. "You're the worst, you know. Mom and Mom think you were dead." I almost opened my eyes right at that moment. This was one of the kids! 'Their alive! But are all of the pups alive? And who is this?' It was one of my sons. So Axle or Flash. He sat down and growled something under his breath.

"Why were you so stupid! All you had to do was go with Mom and the others!" He said, almost screaming. (well whispering but too wolves it's like screaming) "You didn't have to go and save me! I was alright....The others needed you more!" He continued starting to cry, 'Wait! Shit!' I thought know who it was. "A-Axle, it's ok!" I said, trying to get up. He looked at me and froze, I winced and sat up. "Hey, buddy...." I said soft. He looked me in the eyes, and tears started falling from his eyes. "You-...." He tried and broke. He got on the bed and started crying, hugging me.

I put my arms around him and held him tight. I knew he was the oldest of five, but he was the softest. I know parents always say their kids are sensitive if they cry a LOT, but for Axle, that was true. Me and his mother cared a lot for him, and even though he thought he had to be strong, he didn't. And we were ok with that, plus he was the cutest of our pups. I saw Luna poke her head in, take one glance at her brother, and turn around.

"Y-you stupid wolf." Axle said under his breath."Hey, I'm fine now. Aren't I?" I said, lifting up his head he nodded, and Luka ran in. "Axle! Hollow Labs at Jullie's place!" He said out of breath." They know there are wolves, just not where. Asher, hide your ears and tail. I'll explain after." He said quickly, rushing out. I did as he said, and Axle got up and closed the door, locking it. Walking over to close the curtains he he froze. "What's wrong?" I asked, trying to get up and immediately having to lay back down because my leg was hurt. "Nothing dad...I just thought I saw something." He said, and I knew he was lying. I knew it was something, but what?
