This is Jass. He, and he knows he is a he, is bendy. He was never your average stick figure, with stocky, pencil lines and no character. Jass can move in a way that no other mannequin can. He is skinny, he is tall. He is the outline of every drawing.

But Jass is also Jass. He doesn't like to talk about it, but he secretly feels sad when his artist erases his body, bit by bit, to create a new person who looks nothing like him. He is dynamic, he is flexible. Jass knows when to go with the flow.

That is when a miracle happened. Jass was drawn as a king. His robot arms posed for the camera, and his legs swiveled and bended to draw himself up like royalty.

Across the paper was Mac. Mac was a Tv, one that belonged in the late 70s. His eyes were gunshots. and his mouth a scrape, but he didn't mind being a battered device. He smiled all the same. Mac was of pen, he was permanent. It was then that Jass realized that he was of pen too, but for him that didn't matter. His artists drew over him just the same. But then he stayed. He chatted with Mac about the weather, and he stayed. It was 12 hours, 24. And he was there to see his artist open up their book. He had a crown upon his head, and it was made for him. He even had his own mile drawn upon his box-like face, one that matched Mac's.

The next time that Jass was drawn, he was given a Santa hat. It was in math class that they drew him, in a dancing pose next to their unfinished homework. It wouldn't matter to him in the slightest, because again he managed to somehow tug at the artist's heart. He was extendable, and as such he could become anything. It was obvious that the artist loved this.

Jass was offended when given a jester costume. At first, he wanted to hide away, as he was next to his self with the Santa hat, and he feared his own jabs at his attire. After another 12 hours, when he could finally confirm an eternal existence, he thought about his artist, how they felt to draw him this way. They never drew another Mac, nor did they ever draw another spider that was next to him. But they continued to draw him, and he wondered why.

Next, he was created somewhere special. Somewhere secluded. Two antennas sat on his head, and he thought of Mac. He couldn't reach Mac anymore. He wondered if Mac was lonely. One would never think that drawings would be able to cry, and they would be right. Instead, in the empty shell where his heart should be, he felt a tang of grief, but that was soon replaced by another spider that joined him.

One time, Jass was drawn with a circle head, another, he was drawn with blood on his hands. No longer did he think about the artist, no longer did he think about Mac.

The artist... grew tired of Jass, unfortunately. By that point, Jass was no longer Jass. He was reduced to a stick figure, a drawing to create another drawing. They had moved on, to greater, better things. They no longer needed Jass.

Jass was an extendable character, that was what he thought. What is Jass now?
