{Chapter 47}
Melinda and Daisy sat in the back of a black van still cuffed and Daisy looked over to her mother who seemed to be thinking about something. She was trying to think about why they were arrested and how to get the both of them out of there.
"Why did we get arrested?" Daisy asked her mother
"I don't know. Probably something involving Andrew." Melinda answered with a sigh
Daisy looked at her confused, "What do you mean?"
Melinda scooted to sit up in her seat as she thought about the last time she was arrested by her ex-husband. She looked at her daughter with a sigh as she remembered the story so vividly.
"A long time ago, he got me arrested once. I was lucky enough that Coulson got me out but I don't know about this time." Melinda explained
The van came to a halt and car doors were heard opening and closing, before the doors to where the duo were opened. They took the seat belts off and yanked both women out of the car. Daisy landed on her foot wrong and it twisted causing her to groan in pain. Melinda heard it and looked at her daughter in worry, before seeing her limping as she followed the man that dragged her inside. She was upset at the fact someone hurt her daughter and knew that when Spencer finds out, that man might be dead. Melinda was pushed inside and taken to a interrogation room separate to her daughter's which was next door.
"Stay seated. If you move out of that chair, you will be stuck here for a long time." A man demanded her
Melinda just glared at him as she didn't like the fact she, along with her daughter, was arrested for no reason. The man left the room leaving Melinda alone for a long time, thinking when the team would help her and Daisy.
Novice Agent
Aaron was driving one of the vans towards where Melinda and Daisy were taken to. He was angry, so was Spencer, as he gripped the steering wheel to the point he almost broke it. David, JJ, and Derek were in the car with him as Emily, Spencer, and Penelope were in the van behind them.
"Why would they get arrested? They didn't do anything wrong!" Derek speaks up
"I have an idea, Andrew." David replied
JJ looked at him confused, "What makes you think that?"
"He's probably upset that his own daughter and ex-wife beat him in his strongest form. He feels overpowered by them so he thinks 'I get rid of them, I'm the strongest.'" David explains
