A/N: Lelouch's POV will be during the time when nagumo began the attack, ayanokoji's will be the aftermath.

today supposedly marks the 3rd and technically last day of this exam, the plan and strategy have been all going as predicted and nothing was out of the ordinary aside from yuuichi katagiri's unexpected message to me.

i believe nagumo miyabi should also be beginning his attack at us right now if my assumption is correct, horikita manabu has stated that nagumo miyabi is a dictator through and through even leading to the expulsion of many students of this school, he also stated that he holds quite the grudge against those he loses against which would be scary to any normal student but sadly...i am not one of them, i have people who will cover and take blows for me and i have eyes and ears everywhere...so come at me nagumo miyabi!.

"alright president, why did you call for me exactly?" i asked horikita manabu as he sat calmly inside of the building where we usually have our meetings.

he glanced a look at me before closing his eyes again.

"sit down lelouch-kun" he ordered me to which i stayed silent and still for a moment before doing as he said.

what does he want now?!, today is the day i mark my first victory and declare war upon sakayanagi!.

as soon as i sat down he opened his eyes and stared at me with quite the calm look on his face.

i stared back at him for a moment before crossing my legs and awaiting him to speak.

"i want to ask something of you" he said to which i raised my eyebrow.

what could he want from a simple kouhai like myself i wonder.

"what is it sir?" i asked to which he crossed his hands together and sighed.

soon after he spoke up and his words honestly shocked me...

"i want you to expel Ikuto Kiriyama"

ikuto kiriyama?!...if i remember right, ibuki mio has stated that the girls from the 2nd years called him the vice president, so he is the successor of nagumo miyabi and the future vice president but they've also stated that the two carry a similar relationship to nagumo and horikita, they're quite distant and rarely enjoy interacting with one another.

so why is horikita manabu trying to remove someone who opposes nagumo even though he is his enemy?...

"why exactly do you want me to do that?" i questioned as i leaned forward at the table.

horikita manabu's eyes turned cold as he stared back at me.

"it's a personal matter, one that a kouhai like you shouldn't involve himself in...yet"

is that so?...so you plan on involving us in this battle soon i see...

well his request isn't really that tough but it kind of begs me to choose:

should i expel ikuto kiriyama and gain the favor of horikita manabu?

or should i simply expel the person i had planned on expelling all along...that being ayanokoji kiyotaka?.

ryuuen would most likely tell me to expel ayanokoji...

hiyori and tokito would tell me to do what i believe is correct...

sigh...i hate dillemas like this but alas i will choose the one i find to be the more advantageous to myself in the long run...

"very well then, consider it done!, i am glad you seem sure of my victory as well" i said as i smiled while offering my hand for him to shake
