Kim's POV
"Um..." I cleared my throat and looked at Lorena after I was done dressing up. "I don't mind um..." I cleared my throat again. Fuck Kim why do you always lose your words when it comes to this woman? "We could continue, I mean I could um make you....." She smiled shaking her head.
"It's okay Kimberly. I'm good." Lorena said.
"Are you sure? I mean it's it's not fair that I got-"
"I'm certain." She cut me off and pointed out sternly. I immediately felt embarrassed that I just got rejected like that. Did she just think of me as a one timer or something? I gathered whatever dignity I had left and then told her.
"Okay" I said and then stormed out.

Lorena's POV
I woke up the next morning and I don't know why but I felt bad about how Kimberly left last night. I obviously didn't do anything wrong except making her feel good but then what happened to her?
I got ready for work and then took my extra clothes that I brought with me as well. By the time I was at the reception floor, Danny was already waiting for me.
I gave him my bag of clothes and told him to take me home instead.
"Boss are you sure?" He asked.
"Yeah. I will not be going into the office today." I told him.
"Okay." He started driving and I closed my eyes enjoying the ride home.
Kim's POV
"Girl, you're back at it again. I thought you were over this." Penny said walking into my office.
"What are you talking about Penny?"
"Have you checked what time it is?" I shook my head no. "Well it's time to get something to eat. Let's go."
"Oh, I'm not hungry. You go on without me." I said.
"No." She closed my laptop. "I'm not leaving without you. Come on."
"Penny I'm serious, I'm not hungry." I told her.
"Okay." She sat down. "What's wrong?" I sighed.
"Nothing."
"Try again." I looked at her.
"I'm not lying, I'm fine."
"I can't hear anything, did you say something?" I rolled my eyes.
"Okay fine......I hooked up with someone last night." Her mouth opened wide.
"Shut the from door!!"
"That was loud." She giggled.
"Sorry. So how did it happen?"
"Just a spur of the moment thing Penny. I can't really explain it but when I wanted to reciprocate she declined." I said.
"And?"
"And that's it. I felt embarrassed so I left." I said.
"Embarrassed? Girl why would you be embarrassed? It's not like you didn't get some." I laughed.
"Stop it." She laughed.
"You're overthinking this. Maybe she just wanted to give and not receive." She shrugged. "I don't know how sex between women works." I laughed.
"Right." I said shaking my head. "Never mind though. I'll just deal with it alone." I said.
"But can we please go out for lunch. I'm really starving." I sighed.
