After that Makima died , Kishibe took her place with enthusiasm not only because he has now a higher salary but also because Makima is finally gone.

Even though the Control Devil was back it was way easier to take care of that case since Nayuta, the new Control Devil, is just a child. Kishibe is taking care of Nayuta who is often babysitted by Denji and Power.

Speaking of the two of them, as we all know they are living with Aki, well since Makima died and Kishibe is their new boss, Special Divison 4 got a raise for contributing to Makima's murder operation.

With the money Aki bought a bigger appartment, with a bigger kitchen, bigger rooms and even a tv. Yay.

Right after they moved in, Kishibe allowed all Special division 4 two weeks of rest for they great work.

A lot happened right after the fight
against Makima.

-Flashback-

Angel and Aki were exhausted. Power passed out and Denji to make sure Makima wouldn't return, cooked her and ate her.

Aki was hospitalised with several injuries. Angel was regenerating slowly while Power fell asleep for 2 days.

Denji who was the only one who could stand up properly, was trying to take care of everyone. He visited Aki and Angel at the hospital everyday, when Power woke up Denji cooked for her and helped her brush her hair.

Aki got severely injured and his wounds were taking forever to heal.

While Aki and Angel were putted in the same room, they had a very intersting conversation you might want to hear

"I can't believe Makima was a devil, especially the Control Devil." said Aki.

"Me neither." Angel responded.
"But I always thought something was off about her. I was right."

"I never thought that she was like this, she saved me only to use me." Aki said.

"I'm so grateful we survived, I was so scared of losing you, Aki." said Angel with his tangerine eyes glazing at Aki's.

Aki felt his cheeks redden as he listened to Angel speaking his thoughts.

"You touched my hand while we were fighting, thanks to you I'm still here but I don't know how much lifespan you losed there. Do you mind showing me your hand ?" asked Angel.

Angel was sitting on a chair next to Aki's bed. He showed Angel his palm.

"So you can read the lines in my palm ?" asked Aki.

"Not exaclty." answered Angel. "By looking at the shapes and forms of the lines I can tell how much time you have left."

"That's a cool ability." said Aki.

Angel surprised announced "That's strange. Looks like your impending death was supposed to happen 4 days ago."

"What- How is that possible?" replied Aki.

"I think that the future got a bit messy and you have 48 years to live now."
said Angel with a smile forming on his face and his tangerine eyes sparkling.
