"All cats old enough to hunt for themselves, gather around the TallBranch for a clan meeting!" I yowled. I heard the clan begin to murmur and mew I'm question of why I had called a clan gathering. They began to cluster around the tree I was perched on.
"we gather here today to welcome a new apprentice into the clan, Peatalkit please step forward! She shuffled up to the front of the clan and stopped to lick her chest fur.
"come up to the Tall Branch please " I said, jumping gracefully to the ground without a single sound.
"Peatalkit, do you promise to train hard to become a great, loyal, warrior, and protect the clan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do" she mewed, almost to quiet to hear.
"Then by the power of Starclan, I grant you your apprentice name, you'll be known as Petalpaw, until you have learned the ways of our Warrior ancestors and become a warrior!" I leaned forward and touched my chin to her head to grant her her name, she licked my chest and respect and stepped backwards a mouse-length.
"Peatalpaw! Peatalpaw!" The whole clan yowled. She began to blush uncontrollably from apriciation.
"Your mentor will be Firetail, she will teach you all you will need to know to become a warrior." I meowed, taking a glance at Firetail.
"Firetail, you learned a lot from Featherstar, And I hope you'll pass down your knowledge to Peatalpaw."
"I will hand Peatalpaw all of the techniques and strategies I learned from Featherstar so she can be the best warrior she can become." Firetail promised.
"Good." I exclaimed. smiling and how well my first clan gathering went since I became leader.
"The meeting is dismissed!" I yelled loud enough so every cat could hear me.
"I need to appoint a new deputy before before sun-high!" I thought to myself...
"Starclan, please forgive me for not apointing a new deputy before Sunhigh." I mewed quietly so no cat could hear me.
