Superstar (fem reader) - chapter 1

Y/N POV

I was sitting in my apartment waiting for my girlfriend's call. I'm dating Hailee Steinfeld. That's right the gorgeous Hailee Steinfeld, an award winning actress, singer , model , name it she's got it all. While me, I'm just a normal person, working 8 hours a day as a bartender and earn enough money to pay my bills. As for my work, that's where and how we met , in the bar. I know that it's not a place where you could generally meet love but that's where we started. I don't know what she sees in me , I have told her many times to look for someone better but she chose to stay, not that I don't want her but it's because she has no future in me. Our relationship was a secret. Nobody knew we were dating, she wanted to tell everybody and let the world know that we are together but I refused to. Social media sucks, I don't want her to get bashed, it can ruin her career if they found out Hailee Steinfeld is dating a nobody for her level. I love her so much and all I want is the best for her.

Hailee's POV

I was at work, waiting for my manager since we're having a meeting. A few minutes later, he came in the office. The meeting went well until .,..

"Hailee, there is one thing that I want to ask from you." My manager said and I waited for him to continue.
"We want you to fake date Niall Horan." He said. I didn't know what he meant.

"What? Why would I do that?" I asked.

"Well as you can see you are almost on top of your career, your fans are shipping both of you now after your movie together. It was a hit movie. It can get you there if you date him. People will love you for that."
He added.

" I don't think so, I am in a relationship, you know that. I don't think my girlfriend will be okay with it and neither am I." I answered.

"You are not actually gonna be dating him, just a fake dating, you will be holding hands in public, go on dates just simple as that. "He paused. "Listen Hailee, just think about your career and it's just a fake relationship with Niall. " he added.

After the meeting, I didn't agree to what the management wanted. I went straight to Y/N's place to talk to her about it.
I was greeted with a hug and a kiss on my forehead. I loved it when she does that. Our hugs lingered for seconds before we broke.

"How was your day love?" I asked.
"It's okay, you?"she asked.
"I'm fine I guess, I had a meeting with the management." I asnwered. "Baby, I want to talk to you about something." I said and we sat on the couch.
" Uhmm, I don't know, it was a dumb idea." I stuttered.
"What is it love?" She asked. I looked at her.

"They want me to go on a fake dating with Niall Horan." I said. I was scared of her reaction. She didn't say anything but she just lowered her head.
"I didn't agree to them yet, I told them that I should talk to you about it first. It is for my career since we starred in a romance movie and people are shipping us. They told me that it will boost my career if I date him. If you're not okay with it, it's fine, I'm not gonna say yes to them." I explained to her.

Y/N ' s POV

After what Hailee said that her management wanted her to fake date Niall, I had a mixed feelings about it. It's okay since it's all just fake but the scenarios of them goin in public holding hands like a real couple, of course it damn hurts. I wanted to disagree but if it's all just for a show and for Hailee's career then I'll be okay with it.

"You mean you have to go public with him holding your hands. And go on dates instead of me right."I sadly answered.

"Yes, but I'm not gonna do it if you're not okay with it." Hailee said.

"It's alright love, you can go with it. Just don't let him kiss you ,and I trust you because I love you." I assured and held her hands.

"Are you sure?" She asked and I nodded. I gave her my best smile trying to hide that I'm still hurt but it's for her so I need to be okay with it.

"Just hold hands, don't let him kiss you please?" I asked.

"Never. I promise you that." She assured and we kissed passionately.

We cuddled in my couch all day just flirting with each other and whispering sweet nothings. We kept stealing kisses and just enjoyed the moment together because after this, I don't think I would have her by myself because of their agreement.
