Chapter 4: Surprise Meetup!

*Domino Pier*

*8:56pm*

Usagi and the feline spirit, Luna, walked endlessly for a good three hours before they were met face to face with the grand and spectacular Domino Pier! They arrived much later than they expected because there was so much to explore in the city with many places to go. Not to mention way more arcade areas to play in to pass time. You'd think they had fun, but unfortunately that wasn't the case when Usagi was able to talk with Mamoru through the phone booth. Their conversation didn't felt the same heartfelt feeling like before. It felt awfully dull.

*Flashback*

*7:45pm*

"Aha! Look Luna I see a phone booth right over there! Thank goodness!"

Meatball Head sprinted towards the booth, almost leaving behind Luna in the dust.

"I can tell you're pretty excited to hear him. But hey wait up for me! I know I can float as a spirit but that doesn't I can go as fast!"

"Hehe sorry about that! Hurry!"

Usagi waited for Luna inside and closed the thin door behind. She reached over to the phone and quickly dialed Mamoru's number. She seemed too excited that she had forgotten to put in the money before calling.

"Eeee! This is it Luna! I don't think I'll let him know about what's happening right now. It'll get him too worried," Usagi stated as she rose the phone to her ear. "Just wanna hear a few words from him..."

"Go right ahead Usagi. Take a deep breathe and relax. You got this!"

*DIALING.....

Mamoru Chiba: "Hello? Who's calling?"

Usagi Tsukino: "Mamo-chan!! You finally answered! It's been so long!"

Mamoru Chiba: "...Oh! Nice to hear you again Meatball Head! You still like be called like that, right?~"

Usagi Tsukino: "Hmph! We've been together for quite a while and here you're still acting childish by calling me that silly nickname!"

Mamoru Chiba: "You're one to talk. So how's it going for you my love? You've been doing well?"

Usagi Tsukino: "Well yeah but I just miss you a lot... How are you over there in the study program?"

Mamoru Chiba: "Never been better! I have been selected for an excellent position by the president of the program! It's going great!"

Usagi Tsukino: "That's amazing! I'm so happy for you Mamo-chan! But when will you come back-"

Mamoru Chiba: "Can't you believe I got this important role? I'm glad my hardwork paid off big time! I just have to schedule the next meeting and see where I'll be going to next-"

Usagi Tsukino: "Mamo-chan! That's great, really, but you haven't forgotten about us right? And me?-"

Mamoru Chiba: "Of course not! But listen this is a huge deal to me-well...I mean us. This is a big path to our future and I'll be having the successful career I've been wanting! After all the evil is gone nothing is gonna stop me now!"
