Season 2 turned out to be pretty short, so I ended up just making it one long chapter. Hope you enjoy!

Kappa blinked his eyes open and squinted at the light shining through gaps in the trees. He closed his eyes again and processed his surroundings, he's.. sleeping under a tree. And he needs to get up soon because he needed to do something.. but he can't because.. he opened his eyes softly and looked down, a small smile appearing on his face. Because his husband is holding onto him and he doesn't want to wake him up yet. He layed back and thought to keep himself entertained. How long ago did they meet? Only about.. 2 months ago. 2 months and they had already shared so much with eachother. Love and laughter and happiness.. he's never felt as loved as he did with Siren. He's never even loved himself as much as Siren does.. never. Why? Why couldn't he love himself? Not even when he was a child. He hated himself when he was a child. Suddenly, A long lost memory flashed into his head.

——

Kappa sat at the edge of his bed in thought. It was his tenth birthday today at the orphanage. Nobody even knew. Normally on his birthday he would actually forget it, feeling that it wasn't really important. But he realized today was his tenth birthday. He's lived a decade on this hell of a planet, he's lived through his parents dying, bullying, and hating himself and his body, that's a lot.. for a kid too. He looked around. Nobody was here. Nobody was going to do the least and come into his room to tell him "happy birthday, I'm proud of you". They would never. It's not like they care about him or something. Nobody cares. He should just die. That thought caught him off guard. He's told himself that he should die multiple times before but.. Kappa stood and held at his desk to sturdy himself. Never has he thought of doing it.. himself. He's always just wished something would kill him but.. how do you just.. kill your self? I guess you could choke. Or drown. Or get poisoned. Or... fall. Yes.. that's it. A jump will do it. He's been around he knows where a bridge is. Kappa sat at his desk and pulled out a paper. I guess if anyones cared then they should know he's not missing. A death letter? Okay..

He set down his pencil and opened his window. Slowly, he crawled across the roof and jumped down to the ground. The soft grass made his landing a little gentle-r, and then he ran. There's a river, and over it is a highway. He should be able to jump there. Kappa ran through streets and neighborhoods, he didn't even mind how tired he was getting. He felt relief when he saw the bridge in front of him. He slowly walked over till he was at the center. He carefully crawled over the rail and looked down. The thrashing river somehow was comforting to him, the way he would be tossed and turned till he ran out of breath.. is a wonderful thought to him. He took a deep breath it, the cold night air somehow feeling nice against his face. One step.. and he'll be free. He'll be happy. Just.. one.. step...

No!

Kappa tried leaning back onto the bridge but he couldn't! He twisted around and gripped onto the edge. He didn't know why he held on. He didn't know why he suddenly wanted to live.. so.. badly... "Help!" He yelled, a sob beginning to form in his voice. "Please help!" He cried. His voice was unheard. He was unheard. His hands were tired from the run, he was tired. "Kappa!" He heard someone yell. He heard fast footsteps till he felt someone grasp his wrist and help get up. As soon as he was up he felt the stranger hug him tightly and he actually hugged them back. "Who are.." he mumbled, but once he pushed away he immediately knew who she was. "Vinca?" He mumbled. "Oh my god! Kappa what are you doing?! Why are you out here?!" She yelled, obviously worried like hell. "I Um.." kappa started. But then he felt his eyes hurt, and he leaned onto her, crying. "I'm sorry Vinca... I'm sorry.." he sobbed. She held tightly onto his and he could feel her shaking. Vinca worked at the orphanage, despite mostly everyone hating him she was kind to Kappa.. she was like his mother. "On your birthday?.." she whispered. Kappa gasped softly. "You know?" He asked quietly. "Of course I know! It's your birthday I wouldn't miss it for the world!" A small smile appeared on Kappas face. "It might not seem like much, but that means a lot to me.. thank you."
